Question!
I downloaded the file, but the media player tries to find a codec I think it was called. It won't play the episode. It tries to contact a website instead, but when I go online, it doesn't do anything.
Anyone have any advice? At least I have the files!

Uh oh. Scott's out of town until Thursday. I think the computer might need to be running a newer form of Windows? Like maybe Windows 2000 or XP?
Brie, did it run on your Win98?

It runs fine on 98, although for some reason that I don't quite understand for me it runs on Wimamp, not Windows Media Player. As long as it runs I'm not complaining. Amy, is your Media Player updated? Maybe it's an older version. You might be able to fix the problem at www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx That's what I found when I googled "Windows 98 Media Player Codec."

I finally downloaded the whole thing, several tries and several days later. Really nice job, Al!
And here's the background conversation that had to be edited out. "Mom, is Dad ever going to grow up?" "I don't think so, dear."

Funny, I'm 17 have been married for 11 years and have a 10 year old daughter!!!!! But you know what? My daughter was the one who basically filmed the outdoor shoot and she oversaw the viper cockpit sequence for me...not bad for 10 years old...

Amy, Windows Media Player 10 works very well with the episodes. It has the codec already included. You may want to try to download the "Divix" Codec that's available on the downloads page. Brie, The reason it accesses Winamp for you is because your computer is reading it as your default video player. Other questions? BTW... I'm baaaaaaaaack!!!!!

The weird thing is that I have Windows Media Player set as my default. I hardly ever use Winamp, haven't in months. But it plays, so I'm not complaining.

I haven't a clue what media player number this thing has. It's windows 2000 though, if that helps. Will the divix codec work with that?

The files are .wmv and for whatever reason, Brie's Winamp is set up for that. My suggestion to Amy is to download either or both Divix (available on the website in the downloads area) and/or Microsoft Windows Media Player 10 (which is available at microsoft.com) In the searchbar put Media Player 10 and it should take you to it.
