Amy
"No, please let me finish," Artus continued; "if you have personal problems that need sorting out, I would be glad to give any kind of assistance that I can give you. And if it is time you need, take all the time you want. I'm sure that whatever it is, it's nothing that the two of us can't overcome given the right amount of time and effort. So having said that, I think there is only one final argument that I would like to add..."
And with that he first softly, but then firmly, pressed his lips against mine. I found myself not wanting to resist, but a whole range of conflicting emotions rose up in me, producing a single tear that welled up unexpectedly and ran down my cheek. Upon seeing this, Artus loosened his hold on me.
I gave him a half smile as I quickly wiped the tear away with the cuff of my jacket. "Like I said" I nervously half-laughed, "it's complicated." I put my hand on his as I got to my feet. "I'm not sure I feel like cards right now" I said, adding lamely, "besides, we can't light up in here!"
I backed up toward the door. "I'm glad you are okay, Artus. That all of us are okay. I'll check on you again soon." I got to the door, left the room, and turned around just in time to bump into Major Brie coming down the hallway.

As we walked towards the rejuvenation center, the only place I could think of to be alone with Stadia I began to feel wonderful around her. I felt happy for once in my life. After all that had happened to me in the past I was finally feeling happy. I knew deep down inside that I would give her all I could give of my self to make her happy. She has been the one person to make me feel this way. I know I would need to give her time to get to know me and not rush this. I did not care about her past because all I cared about was the future. All of us have had some problems in the past and that were they will stay.
We reached the rejuvenation center and no one was around. I said “Stadia I did tell you that you looked lovely tonight?” Just to look into those emerald eyes I could get lost in them. “I am glad you decided to come with me to the club and for the walk.” I put my hand to her check and gently caressed it lovingly “Thank you for coming, I am enjoying the time with you.” “I want you to know that I do not care about your past only that you enjoy our time together.”

Stadia
Stadia blushed as she felt the caress of his hand on her cheek. "Thank you. It has been a long time time since I heard words like that."' She smiled and looked into his eyes.
She thought it had been to long since she let herself truly care for a person. She wasnt sure she could handle the possibility of being hurt again but part of her wanted to let go of the past.
"Its so hard to not let the past invade the future, Marcus. It becomes so easy to doubt yourself.", she says as she takes his hand and caresses her hand back and forth. "If your willing to be patient, I am willing to give it a try."
She stands on her tippy toes and plants a soft kiss on his lips.

Brie
Major Brie was walking down the hallway when she almost walked right into Captain Amy. She hadn’t seen Amy in a while, not since before the latest mission. Since they were good friends Brie wanted a chance to just sit down and talk, but she had been headed somewhere. “Amy,” she said, “want to compare notes on the iceball?”
“Huh?” Amy replied. She seemed distracted.
“The iceball planet? The one we both just left?”
“Oh, sure,” Amy said.
“I’ve got one stop to make,” Brie said. “How about we meet in 15 centons. What do you think, my quarters or the O Club?”
“Your quarters,” Amy answered quickly. There were a few people she didn’t want to see at the micron, and chances were good that at least one of them would be in the Officers’ Club.
“Okay, see you there in 15 centons.” As Amy walked away it dawned on Brie that her friend had been coming from the same direction that Brie was heading in.

Having been assured that Artus’ injuries weren’t serious and that he’d be fine in a day or two, Brie entered his room. Although he had been a member of Gold Squadron for a while, she and Artus had never officially met. He turned towards her, a silly, flirtatious grin on his face. “Back so soon? I knew you couldn’t resist...oh sorry, Major, I thought you were someone else.”
A light went off in Brie’s mind. She suddenly knew why Amy had been coming from this direction. “Oh, frack, not again,” she said louder than she had intended.
“Excuse me?” Artus replied.
“Nothing,” Brie said. “I just wanted to check and see how you’re doing. Doc says you’ll be out of here soon. Oh, and to let you know that the snowram is coming out of your pay.”
The grin left Artus’ face. “Major, there was a Cylon foot patrol...”
“Just because there were Cylons doesn’t mean you can be careless with the equipment, Lieutenant,” Brie interrupted. She was silent for several microns and then she smiled. “Just kidding. Good job down there. I know first hand how difficult that planet was. You rest up. Who knows what the next system will bring. I need you healthy.” She left the room to meet with Amy, wondering if this time Amy would actually tell her what was going on.

After they kissed I said “Stadia know that I will give you all the time in the world that your heart desires” I take Stadia into my arms and lovingly embrace her and continue the kiss. After we finish a second kiss I continue to hold her in my arms letting her feel my warm embrace and caress her hair.
After about a couple of centars we headed back to the Gold barracks “Thank you for a wonderful time Stadia I enjoyed our time together.” I gave Stadia a kiss good night. “I will see you tomorrow good night Stadia.” I headed for my bunk to try and get some rest I know I would not get much sleep I was still thinking about that kiss Wow!!!

Stadia
Stadia stepped out of her gown and wrapped herself in her robe. She hung the dress on the hanger in her locker. She grabbed her shower stuff and headed for the turbo shower.
A short time later she returned to put her stuff in her locker. She reached up to put something on the shelf and let out a very loud "Frack!" as she was very painfully reminded of her ribs and the accident.
She decided to go and have her ribs rechecked to see if she had done further damage to them. She wrapped her robe around her tightly and headed to medbay.

Finding that I just could not get to sleep I decided to go for a walk. I headed out of the barracks. I happened to see Amy heading down the hall and see looked mad at something. “Hello Captain what’s up? You look a little mad. Can I help with anything? My mother always told me that talking about what is bother you can always help. She also told me I was a good listener. Would you like to talk about it if not, do you want to go catch a drink? By the way thanks”
Amy looked at me and asked “Thanks for what”. I responded “For nudging me in the right direction. Stadia is a wonderful person.” “Now how about that talk and drink? You look like you need it.”
"No, please let me finish," Artus continued; "if you have personal problems that need sorting out, I would be glad to give any kind of assistance that I can give you.
