Stadia
Stadia grumbles at having to less the mess hall before she had finished her dinner. She heads out to find Mission Specialist Fenmarnis. She hates enviro suits.
She enters the enviro suit processing center. She walks up behind Mission Specialist Fenmarnis and taps him on the shoulder. She jumps back to keep from being decked by him as he swings around.
"Mission Specialist Fenmarnis, Lt. Stadia reporting for enviro suit fittings."
"Oh yes, I was expecting you." he says. He reaches over onto a tray and pulls something off of it. He begins to take measurements for the suit. He has lift her arms up, spread my legs apart for the inseam, and lower my head down so head could measure my head and neck.
Grumbles...
Stadia leaves the enviro processing center and heads back to the barracks.
She enters and moves to her locker. she opens it and reaches in. She pulls out the locket from its resting place. She hooks it around her neck. She smiles and lays down on the bed.

It was not long before the enviro-suit fitting when Ensign Kris entered Nat’s quarters to inform him that she would have to break their date. Nat was still living in relative luxury with more than adequate space, since no one had yet been assigned to the other bunk in the training officers’ quarters. “Kris, have a seat. I’ll be with you in a moment,” he said from the small washroom. “How’s your day?” She had sat down in one of the two chairs, and when she did, she noticed a paper that had fallen off the floor. Nat had told her that he liked to write long-hand whenever possible, since he was always typing and programming in front of the computers. She was about to answer Nat's question when she picked up the paper and sat it on the table. As she did, she could not help but see the first few words at the top. In the ensuing panic that seemed to sweep through her, she suddenly felt as if her chest was being squeezed as if she was in the training accelerator. The first line read: My Dear Sharla, I have missed you so very much in the time that we have been separated— -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I stared at the paper as I struggled to keep the bile that was threatening in my throat down. My heart raced and breathing was a chore. I frantically searched the room. I knew I needed to get out of there before it was too late. "Kris?" he asked due to the silence. "uhm it was fine uhm yeah fine. Nat, I have to go. I am going on another mission. I need to get fitted for an envirosuit so I ... uh I need to well should rather go on to there now so they can uhm uhm yeah get me fitted. Just know that I never meant to hurt you or anything like that and that my feelings are and were genuine uhm I am sorry that I can't stay I uh I *fighting back the tears now* I need to go. Bye Nat." With that I burst from the room. I ran down the hall till I got to the corner. I leaned against the wall and struggled to catch my breath. *Sharla? Who is this Sharla? And why didn't he say something before? How could I have been so blind? How can I face him now? or ever. and Why now all this right before I go out again?* I tried to wipe my tears as I walked in for my fitting. I stood there somber while they took the measurements, snagging a tear here and there. I had to pull it together or it might not be good for the mission. But nothing could stop my heart from breaking into a thousand pieces.

Lt. Stadia had been rather, uhm, unfriendly was perhaps the best word that came to mind, during the fitting. Mission Specialist Fenmarnis suddenly caught on as Lt. Stadia was walking out of the fitting room. Fenmarnis had been so busy taking measurements and making sure that everything would fit correctly, she hadn't said more than two or three words the entire time. With her medium length dark hair pulled back tightly in a bun, her hat covering it, and the unisex coveralls, Stadia must have thought she was a man! Fenmarnis let out a good laugh! With her rather small but muscular build, it wasn't the first time, and it probably wouldn't be the last. Still, at closer to 50 yahrens than to 40, Fenmarnis was proud that she was in as good shape as she was, even if she'd lost her feminine physique long ago. With her enduring sense of purpose and determination to keep her Warriors safe, she broke a big smile, let down her hair, and prepared for the next enviro-suit fitting.
Lt_Skyler
Skyler was just finishing up with his shop duties when Mara walked in.
<<<She headed out and found him working. Clearing her throat to get attention he turned around to see her there. Smiling at him to try to hide the fact that she was not in the best of moods right now. "Hey there you are! Guess you heard that I was released?" He smiled and held her tight. Wrinkling her nose at him and the grease he had on him. "Hey watch it you might get that on me!" she teased! He didn't care he kissed her. Mara pulled away and turned away. Skyler turned her to face him. "Mara what's wrong?" "Nothing, something, everything. I stopped by the hanger and saw my viper and it shook me up. Then I heard Brie handing out assignments for the upcoming mission, and you are going as a shuttle pilot... and I get to stay behind." "Mara..." she cut him off before he could finish. "Yeah I know I have to because I am still recovering. You don't need to remind me of that, I get enough reminders from it." *some I wish I could get rid off as she thought of the nightmares* "Its' just weird being left behind and sitting here waiting for you to come home with the rest of the Gold family in one safe group. I don't like it, and I don't want to get used to it. I feel about as useful as an old toothless daggit right now. Plus I was hoping we could talk and have some time for ourselves, but I must have hit my head harder than I thought." >>>
I promise, after this mission we will have plenty of time to talk. We will be jumping again, and we will get that time. Besides, we need to plan our sealing cermony, right? Mara smiled and it made Skyler feel better. Maybe this was another test, keeping us apart, seeing how we cope with it.
Skyler pulled Mara close to him, and kissed her. Looking into her green eyes he just smiled.
"I seem to have gotten you greasy. I have to change for the mission, so I can walk you to your barracks."
Mara smiled as they left the shop. On the way Skyler saw Titon and reported all fabracation work was complete, and was above spec.
Outside the ladies barracks Skyler pulled Mara close and just held her. Not wanting to let go. Hoping the moment could last forever. Looking down into her eyes he felt like a cadet staring into the depths of space for the first time. Why did she have this effect on him. He leaned over to kiss her when she stopped him.
"Lt. you have a mission to get ready for, and if you start to kiss me again, I won't let you go. Now, go get ready."
Skyler smiled and leaned over and kissed her anyway. He stopped and just smiled.
"By your command Lt."
She watched him leave and wondered how long this mission would last, and if she would ever get used to him being gone..
Skyler had just left Mara and entered the male barracks. The barracks were busy with Warriors prepearing for their part of the mission. Najinn was at his locker getting his stuff together. Skyler grabbed some towels and soap and headed for the turbo shower. coming back into the barracks a few centons later and a lot cleaner. He walked over to his locker and pulled our a new uniform and put it on, and is favorite pair of boots. Digging in the bottom of his old gear bag he pulled out a worn helm. It was his old armor helm.
"Bout time to get a new one isn't it?"
Turning he saw Najinn standing there. Looking back at the Helm he understood. The Galactica Squadron Emblem was still painted on the from of the helm and underneath it was the faded writting, Sgt Skyler.
"Guess you are right...but it is going to have to wait till after this mission."
Skyler grabbed his old helm and they headed to check in with Brie.

Nat was somewhat surprised when she left so abruptly. He knew she was under so much pressure, especially considering that she was about to embark on a very dangerous mission, but he’d hoped that they would be able to spend at least a little time together this evening. The latest rumor to sweep through the ship was that the mission or missions wouldn’t be starting until around 04:00 tomorrow, so she would still have been able to get plenty of sleep before—
He saw the somewhat wrinkled letter lying on the desk, and at once, guessed that Kris’ actions could have had something to do with it. So far, he hadn’t been able to come up with a good way to explain the situation to Kris, so he’d taken the easy route of doing nothing. Now, he’d probably hurt her feelings, and possibly made her think he’d broken her trust. He quickly folded the still incomplete letter, stuffed it into a pocket, and went searching for her. If she was going to be fitted for an enviro-suit, he should be able to catch her there.
A short time later, he was standing just outside the Black Squadron’s Mission Specialists Office. Fenmarnas, the Chief Mission Specialist, was doing the fittings personally, with the help of her staff. When Ensign Kris emerged about 25 centons later, he was still standing there, and he said, “Kris, please, we need to talk. I want to explain about something, but I don’t know how.”
“What? About your ‘Dear Sharla?’ I think I know all that I need to know about her. Now leave me alone!” she said as she stormed away, parting the crowd of Warriors coming toward them. Nat started after her, but a couple of the Black Squadron Warriors in front of the group blocked his path.
“Nat, according to the little shriek I just heard, I think Kris means she really wants to be left alone right now. She’s one of ours, so do as she says, okay?” said Lieutenant Merak, who was on his way for an updated enviro-suit fitting. Several of the other Black Squadron Warriors nodded assent or said, “Yeah, leave her alone.”
Nat raised his hands, palms out, to shoulder height, in a sign of surrender. He leaned back against the bulkhead and slid down, clenching his hands around his ankles. As soon as the Black Squadron Warriors passed, he was up and running, but he’d already lost her trail.
MedievalSong
Ensign Kris kept her pace until she got to the barracks. **** I stopped and swiped angrily at the tears that were running down my face. Flopping on my bed, I looked up and saw that flower Nat gave me. I pulled it from the water I had it in. I heard the other ladies getting ready for dates and I couldn't stand to be in there right now. I headed out and walked to the halls and thought of how Lt Merak stepped in to stop Nat from following me. I didn't know that the others would stand up for me like that. After all that had happened from my first day in the service I really questioned if they would ever accept me. And today, just now, Lt Merak and the others stepped in to take care of one of their own - me. But that doesn't stop the pain I feel in my heart from seeing that letter. To think he was writing in long hand to someone else and called them dear. I stopped short of the observation deck and saw that there were a lot of people in there. Feeling a bit antisocial from the whole thing, I turned away. There was only one place I could go to cry, my viper. I headed in the hangers and climbed in my viper. I had told the techs I was just going to do some last minute checks on it. Looking at the flower, and sadly smiled as I could resee that scene of him giving me the flower. Then it hit me again, that note. I placed the flower on my consoul. The tears fell again. And to think I had hoped for some time with him. My heart was broken.
SiressEden
Lt. Siress Eden had received her orders and was glad to be on standby for this mission. She decided to head to the rejuvenation center for a brief moment or two of relaxation before reporting to duty. As she stood watching the others play their games an inexplicable feeling of dread came over her. Something about this mission was greatly disturbing to her, as if there was vital information she had to report but could not remember. What was it? She would have to sort these feelings out quickly, before the mission got underway.
LucianG
“But Major, you’ve got to let me talk to her.”
“No, Lieutenant, I don’t HAVE to let you do anything of the sort. The report I received from Lieutenant Merak was that Ensign Kris looked very upset as she was running away from you. She is preparing for a mission, and I WILL NOT have you or anyone else disturbing her is she doesn’t want that. Whatever it is, it will just have to wait until after she gets back.”
“Major Lucian, you are my friend. We’ve gotten to know each other pretty well working together on the Sims. As a friend, I’m asking you to please help me. I just need a moment to explain to her—”
“Nat, you are a friend, and as such, I’m sorry, but I’m telling you it needs to wait. You need to let it go, just for now. As Ensign Kris’ commanding officer, I’m telling you that it HAS to wait. Now, it’s getting late, and I still have a ton of work to complete. Please go.”
EnsignWendy
After dealing with the lttle incident outside the fitting room, Lt Wendy went and had her environ suit fitting this was really exciting for her as she loved the idea of the possibilty of being in the vacuum of space, even though they were to go moon side, at least they were going to hit them tin headed cylons where they least expected it.
But ensign Kris's predicament was worrying her, they were a team and any weakness could be a life or death situation.
Wendy went back to the Barracks to find Kris and offer a kind ear, (now that i am a Lt i need to be easliy accessable to my peers, she thought to herself, and Kris would be the first) when she did not find Kris by her bunk, wendy went down to where the vipers were being prepared, any good pilot went to check on thier vipers as they were being prepped for a misssion.
As she walked into the bay she saw Kris sitting in her viper looking at a flower, wendy guesssed that it was a gift from her loved one, "do you want to talk about it" said Wendy to the helpless Ensign.
Merak
After the Envir-suit fitting I went to Major Lucians office to make a report about the incident outside of Mission Specialists Fenmarnas office.
Major Lucian, I need to file a report. Yes Lt. Merak, Proceed. Sir, I was in line to get my Envir-suit fitted and stopped Ensign Nat who was chasing a very upset Ensign Kris, I told him to let her be. I thought you should know.
Thank you Lt. I will see to this, I have a lot of work to do, so if you will...
Yes Sir.
I exit the office heading toward the flight deck to check on my viper for the mission
Checking my viper before a mission, even if I wasn't flying it, always relaxed me. As I circled the ship, it gave me a sence of calm, it always felt "Right" to be in the seat flying across space. I jumped up inside to relax for a few microns. then I went off to get ready for the mission. there was a lot to do in a little time...
MedievalSong
Kris looked over the edge at Lt Wendy. Wiping her eyes, she climbed out of her viper. ***** I left the flower up there, though I don't know why. Getting on the ground, I just stood there. Wendy and I started to walk out of the hanger. Finally getting my voice, "Wendy it's Nat. When I went to go see him so we could go on our date, I found a note in his room. It was in long hand. The only thing was *sniffle* it wasn't to me. It was to some girl named Sharla. And it said to my dear sharla. I really thought we had something Wendy, but I guess not." I hung my head and started crying again. Why did he have to have that note there? "Kris did you try to talk to him about this?" Wendy asked. "No I left his room. If I didn't I was going to break down before him and what's there to explain? Then outside of the fittings he tried to talk to me but I just couldn't. And so Lt Merak stopped him. Which I need to thank him for his help. Then I came here. And you found me. So from here I just need to suck it up and get ready for the mission. I can't put us in any danger. But it hurts! Oh well I was on my own before and so again I will be." Wendy smiled. "You aren't alone you got us." "Yeah I got you guys! Thanks for talking to me Wendy."
Kellyn
Ensign Kellyn sat in the Gold Squadron ready room staring at the walls. She wasn't happy about being on stand-by she would rather have been going along on the mission. After all that is what she had become a warrior for. But she guessed waiting was part of being a warrior as well,it just wasn't a part that she cared to learn.

Charybdis
AFter the orders began to make their way through the proper channels, I requested an urgent meeting with Cmdr. Sheba.
She noticed the intense look on my face and motioned me into the ready room off the side of the bridge.
When we were inside, she asked, "Colonel, are you alright? You look very disturbed." She could read me well. I guess that's why I got along with Sheba.
"Commander, pardon me for the off-topic discussion at the moment, but I feel that the situation with the Fleet Security personnel has gotten too far out of hand. We have been dealing with this piece by piece and I feel that we need stronger measures to contain what has been happening."
Sheba listened intently. I continued, "As you are aware, several of our Warriors have been attacked by Fleet Security members, Lt. Amy was almost killed. We have now heard the reports of two more members attempting a possible suicide bombing on the Med Lab itself!" by now I was almost screaming.
"The situation is dire, Commander. We need to contain the Fleet Security personnel for the duration of our mission until we rejoin the fleet. Therefore, for the safety of our personnel and Fleet Security's as well, I would like to request that you issue a martial order for the Callisto containing all Fleet Security personnel to confined areas until we rejoin the fleet. As pursuant to Colonial Regulations, you, as Commander, can enact extraordinary safety measures to secure the ship if you feel it is necessary. In my best opinion as Callisto Operations Officer, I feel that the ship and our Warriors are threatened and the time has come to enact such a measure."
Sheba looked at me as if she did not know what to say. She was calm and cool. She stopped a moment to think. I was anxiously awaiting her response...
LucianG
Commander Sheba thought for a few moments before responding to Lieutenant Colonel Charybdis’ request. She had been afraid someone would suggest this course of action, and now she had to deal with it.
“Charybdis,” she said, “we’ve got a potentially explosive situation, but portions of it may be coming under control. The reports I’ve received from the MedLab and from several other sources are stating that the Security Force members and the Warriors are actually cooperating again. I heard that several Security Officers had even come by to visit with Lieutenant Amy and to apologize for what she had been through. We’ve got a few things going right on that front now, and I don’t think we want to jeopardize that by confining all of them to their quarters. Then, too, the investigation is ongoing, on several fronts, and if we lock them all up, we’ll kill any chance of it succeeding.” She sipped her drink, and continued, saying, “No, my friend, I don’t think that it would be a good idea to do as you suggest, right now anyway. Let’s continue working the other fronts first, trying to foster the good will, and if that doesn’t work, we’ll drop the hammer on the perpetrators like a steel trap.”
Next, she handed him the memo from Doc Bkj, and said, “I think we have another problem that may or may not be connected to the first one. Doc, Captain Brie, and Captain Urdea are on their way here now, and when you arrived, I was about to page you as well. Read that while I check on some things.”
Charybdis quickly read the memo. When he looked up, Sheba nodded and said, “Doc may be exaggerating somewhat, but as you can see, this has potential to be very serious. A rogue security officer dies of an unknown poison, while attacking others, including Warriors, with a different, but known poison. The explosive used in the engine compartment still has not been identified, although it is suspected to be an advanced Borellian type weapon. Captain Urdea has interviewed all three Borellians on board the Callisto, and said he does not believe that they know anything about the weapon or the incident. He doesn’t want to push it too far, especially considering the fact that it took several yahrens, and a number of incidents, after the Exodus to integrate them into our society. He is watching them discretely, but they are not prime suspects. He and his forces have inspected the lockers and known hangouts of the deceased officers, but found no sign of the poison. It’s like someone wanted to get rid of Lolly so he couldn’t tell what he knew. I suspect that Officer Modo might have met the same fate if Lieutenant Proteus hadn’t been so fast on the draw. Of course, if he hadn’t, Lieutenant Randrius and possibly others might be in the morgue now instead of Modo.
“There is one other thing—” but before she could continue, Doc Bkj and Captain Brie arrived. “Well, let’s conclude this quickly—ah, Captain Urdea, welcome—and then several of us have an appointment with Lieutenant Hawke immediately thereafter.”
Brie
Organizing a mission, wrapping up any odds and ends from the recent probelms AND meeting with Commander Sheba about Hawke all at the same time was what everyone was expecting Brie to do. She was used to it, it seemed like she was always needed 15 places at one time. She was cutting it close on the meeting, and she didn't want to keep the commander waiting. Rounding a corner, she almost walked right into Captain Lazant. Although she didn't really have the time, she couldn't resist telling him about her rank for the mission. "Lazant!" she said calmly. "Did you hear the news? I've been promoted!" Lazant took a step back. The look on his face was priceless. Brie smiled. "It's just temporary. I've been made Field Colonel for the upcoming mission. As soon as I step foot back aboard the Callisto, it's back to Captain again."
A small look of relief crossed Lazant's face, but he hid it well. "When you said that you had been promoted, I thought that my talk with Lt. Col. Charybdis might have worked after all."
It was Brie's turn to be surprised. "You talked with the Lt. Col.?" She decided to make it sound official, she didn't want Lazant to know that her friendship with Charybdis was stronger than ever. She knew that Lazant and Charybdis didn't like each other.
"I just suggested that since someone was promoted from Lt. to Major, maybe some of the other officer's should be in consideration for promotions. Your name was brought up, as was mine. It's always good to know who your friends are!"
Brie tried to hide her anger. Who did Lazant think that he was? And why hadn't Charybdis mentioned this meeting to her? "If I'm EVER going to get that promotion, I'd better not keep the Commander waiting," she said. "Nice talking with you."
"Good luck on the mission, COLONEL Brie." Brie couldn't tell from his tone of voice if he was sincere or sarcastic. One thing she WAS sure of, she didn't trust him.
MaraJadeJedi
Lt MaraJade heard the assignments that Brie handed out. She gave a sad smile when Cpt Brie stopped short of her. "I know I get left behind this time around. Just be careful out there. You won't have me there to watch your back." She tried to give a bigger smile, but they both knew she wanted to go. "Guess that teaches me to crash again huh? *small laugh* well anyways I still need a viper or maybe like me that ol girl will get fixed up? Just get back safe all of you!" Mara never had been left behind let alone not been on a mission without Skyler, so this waiting behind was new to her. She didn't think she was going to like it much since she was already going crazy with boredom. But one false move and she was reminded of why she is being left behind. The crash. Something she so dearly wanted to forget but it haunted her. She still needed to find Skyler. When she got back to the barracks an ensign told her that Skyler came by to see her and that he was in the shop again. Rolling her eyes. Him and his electronics she thought! She headed out and found him working. Plus I was hoping we could talk and have some time for ourselves, but I must have hit my head harder than I thought."

Getting a release from sickbay was a great feeling. I was still a little sore, and several of my bruises and other injuries were quite painful, but I needed to be up and around, exercising myself and working myself back into shape.
I'd be rooming with Captain Brie! That sounded like fun to me. We got along great, and it had been too long since we sat down and talked like we used to. I looked forward to her return from the mission. Lords protect them all and bring them back in one piece.
I walked along, heading to the observation deck above the launch deck. I felt the old feelings, the calling of my viper, the way I used to feel before everything crashed down around me and I had resigned. Had I made a mistake? Could Charybdis be right, that all the trouble could be faced down and everything could be the way it was before?
I really started to feel very left behind as I watched the vipers rolling to their launch positions, and the flurry of activity. I started to get that feeling coursing through me, that quiver of anticipation that comes whenever a launch is near. But I wasn't going. I was injured, and worse yet, not even in the service anymore.
For the first time since I had last taken off the uniform, I really felt like I had made a mistake in resigning.
Hawke14
I try falling asleep again but can't. Damn! Why couldn't I have looked before I punched? At least I could roam free around the Calisto. By now Krissy has reported in to the Commander about Frodar Epsilon. Being brought up on charges for striking a superior officer was the least of my worries. I start pacing around in my cell. I feel like a caged animal! "That's because you are, stupid!" I told myself. I startled myself by the sound of my own voice. The guard outside looks at me. I wave sweetly. "Can't I at least have something to read?" I ask the guard. "No reading materials allowed." he said. Great! Even the great Starbuck had a vid screen when he was in prision. Priveleges of being a legend huh? I try to look for some outlying wires around the cell. Maybe I can de-activate the forcefield and grab a shuttle. Not a good idea. They'd have vipers around me the milicenton I launched. How long have I been in here? A centaur? A secton? Who knows? I was kept fed. When are the questions going to begin? I lay back down on my bunk waiting for the inevitable.
LucianG
Three of the Fleet Security Officers arrived outside Hawke’s cell in the Brig, including Sergeant Whitcher, Captain Urdea’s aide. Urdea had instructed Whitcher to play escort so he could be sure Hawke would arrive safely. Despite all of the efforts to improve the relations between the two services in the last couple of cycles, Urdea still wanted to keep a tight rein on any officers who might be interested in extending the conflict. With Whitcher there as his enforcer, Urdea felt it unlikely that any of his men would cause trouble. Lieutenant Hawke, on the other hand, was an unknown factor considering his recent aberrant behavior. Urdea trusted Whitcher’s ability to get Hawke there even if he wasn’t willing to come peacefully.
“Lieutenant Hawke,” said Whitcher, “Commander Sheba has requested your presence in her Ready Room. We ask you to come peaceably and honorably as a Colonial Warrior.” He left it unsaid that failure to do this would result in him making the trip under less than honorable circumstances.
Hawke14
"Time to go see the Commander,Hawke." The black shirt said. "About time." I get up off the bunk and await the guard to deactivate the forcefield. Well, here goes nothing. The guard deactivates the feild and promptly draws his blaster. "I wouldn't try anything if I were you. Here put these on." He tosses me a pair of wrist binders. I catch them and put them on loosely. "Ok now step out of the cell." I do so. I see 2 more guards on the outside with their blasters pointed towards me. Hmmmm... Not good odds. Not insurmountable, but not good. The 1st guard puts his blaster away and checked the binders. "Nice try." he tells me as he tightens the binders. He takes the lead as the 2 other guards take up the rear position. We make our way to Commander Sheba's office without event.

Doc was just putting the final signatures on the release formes for Lt. Amy and Ensign Annubis. she had received a request from Major Lucian to reconsider putting Annubis on active duty and the ensign was waiting for a complete check-up for a final decision. Doc motioned for the ensign to come into her office. "So, you want to go on this mission." "Yes,Mam,"replied Annubis." And you think you are healed sufficiently to perform all duties required of you?" Yes,Mam",he repiled. "I feel great." And if you didn't feel so great would you tell me? Doc was smiling and peering at him over her glasses. "All right then, I'll release you to active duty." Annubis jumped of the chair ran out the door with a "Thanks a lot Doc." Thinking to herself Doc was very pleased with the way most of the patients in MedLab were recovering from their injuries. She had also been made aware that Major Lucian made a point of sending Lt. Merak on this mission. Lt. Merak had some basic first aid training and had been picked for this mission partially for that reason. She hadn't forgotten about the first aid classes she wanted to give allthe warriors. But with all that was going on she was giving some thought to other ways of having them learn this needed information other than actually holding classes. She waould have to discuss her ideas with Holodoc and Jarryn.
Doc had just put Anubis's file in the cainet when she received word to meet with Commander Sheba in the Ready Room....
Walksallroads
"Before I report for duty, I must as you share this," hands her a file marked Classified with a black line through it, "with Commander Sheba, Lt.Colonel Charybdis, Lt. Jarrynn, Captain Brie, Captain Ureda, Lt. Resonat, and anyone else with access to personnel files. I will deliver a copy to Major Lucien personally." With that, he bows, turns, and walks out the door, heading straight for Major Lucien's room.
When he gets there, he buzzes the door, and waits patiently, with another file. When Major Lucien cals him in, he places the file on the desk. "The doctor has placed me on active flight status. The information contained in this file has been concidered declassified as of the Gerranno Alpha mission."
LucianG
Lucian was sitting at his desk in the Black Squadron Office when Anubis arrived. Lucian accepted the file, flipped through it in a few centons to get an idea of what it contained, but he did not take time to review it in detail. "Thank you, Ensign. I will review this later tonight, and if time allows, I will discuss it with you tomorrow. I'm glad to see Doc has released you, although I suspect, it will be a couple more cycles before you are completely healed. Warriors always want back on duty before they are fully mended. Considering," smiling, "how long she initially estimated your recovery would take, you've done remarkably well."
"I think you will find it all explained in the file, Sir," Ensign Anubis said.
"Good! For the upcoming support mission, I've named you Second-in-Command. Please review the personnel, and assist Lieutenant Randrius in the preparations. Ensign Aliana may not be able to participate due to problems she discovered in the just completed survey that she and Randrius conducted. Compiling the findings has proven to be more difficult than planned, since some of the supplies are mislocated. Lieutenant Grendyl will replace Aliana if necessary. Oh, and Ensign, good to have you back."

Amy held the medical release in her hands. It was official. She could leave the Med Lab and report to Cpt. Brie's quarters for her relaxed convalescence. She was busy putting some things into a small bag when a buzzer sounded at her door.
She gave the command to open the door. A small, thin Ops specialist named Krieg entered the room. "Lt. Amy?" he asked.
"Uh huh?" Amy responded, taking note that he addressed her as a Lieutenant.
"I have a special delivery for you" he said. He laid a small box on the bed.
"Enjoy," he said as he turned on his heels and left.
Amy wondered what in the world was this all about. The box was no bigger than her palm and was rather plain looking. In fact, it was made out of metal and had a hinged lid. It looked rather old. There was no note on the outside, so Amy hoped that it would be clear who sent it when she opened it.
She sat on the bed and picked it up. She flipped the small latch and slowly opened the lid. Inside, the box was lined with a rich fabric, smooth to the touch and cool. It shimmered with the light. There was a note covering whatever it was inside. She lifted the note and unfolded it.
It read: "My dearest Amy, let this small token remind you of the wondrous light that comes from within your soul. I am captivated by it every day when I look into your eyes. Love, Charybdis"
Charybdis!!!!! So that's who it's from!! She put the note down and looked into the box. She picked up the small item.
It was a necklace trimmed in gold with intricate carvings on the links. She recognized that they were carvings from the old language of the Lords of Kobol that she had seen in history scans. The necklace ended in a beautiful, bedazzling jewel that caught the light and radiated it with glowing force. It seemed to have a sould all its own. She had never seen anything like it, but she could not stop staring at it. She would have to speak to Charybdis about this...

I sat back, staring at the necklace, mesmerized by it's beauty. He's serious, I thought. He really means it! I was at once excited and apprehensive. The wounds were healing. Was it wise to risk opening them back up, plus create new ones? Still, the corner of my heart where I had tucked away my feelings for Charybdis began to stir.
What was I going to do? I closed the box containing the necklace before my emotions overloaded, and tucking it into my duffel bag, I walked out of sickbay.
Najinn
You know those feelings, those feelings you have when you feel warm all over. You know feeling positive, happy and in love.
Najin walked down to medbay with a big smile on his face, Amy was being discharged.
He approached the corridor only to bump into Amy walking out of Medbay.
"Hey, stop their, hands up!"
"What!", Amy smiled at seeing Najinn, but then she held her hand tight closed, hiding the box from Charybdis.
"Hello, hello, hello, what are you doing out of sick bay!" Najin jokingly chided Amy.
"It is so good to see you, even at this late hour of the day, you still kick start my day."
"Stop it, come here help me carry this." Amy replied.
Najin picked up Amy's bag and walked with her down the corridor.
"How are you feeling, it's wonderful to see you up and about."
"I feel okay, just hungry and just well, pleased to be out of medbay." Amy was hiding the thoughts triggered by Charybdis's present. If she was confused before she was even more confused now. Back into the malestrom of feelings for two men, two very different, but equally intriguing and caring men. But she had finished things with Charybdis, she had made the break into Najinn's arms and she felt so comfortable, at ease, in love with him, but now after the present... she always had that but!
"Well...." Najin's plan took shape.
They both entered the lift, and Najin punched in his destination.
Amy was curious,
"This isn't going to Brie's quarters."
"Isn't it......" Najin smirked
The lift stopped after some distance towards the back of the Callisto. Hydroponics.
The doors opened to the sight of a glorious garden of colour, greenery and wonderful sweet smells.
"Amy, a little taste of home, a relaxed, enjoyable, meal."
Najin walked out of the lift and around the corner onto a balcony over looking the main Hydroponics bay. Their in front of him was a table, laid out with wonderful care, candle light, soft lighting and the gorgeous surroundings.
"For you Amy, I thought you would enjoy a meal here in these surroundings. You deserve the best, and I hope you like it."
Najin put her bag down, walked over behind her, helped her remove her jacket and they walked over to the balcony edge. She looked down on the hydroponics bay full of life, full of glorious life. It reminded her of the agro ship, it gave her a secure and warm feeling.
Najin put his arms around her and rested his head against hers.
"Amy, I know these past few weeks have been fraught, I know things haven't been easy. When I thought I lost you, my whole world crashed around me. You are so special, you really light up my life. I want you to know that you mean the universe to me, and I am in love with you. It is so simple, no trinkets, no fancy gifts, I want you you to know the truth no hidden messages, I am in love with, I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Najin kissed her ear, and held her close.
"Dinner, my dear."
Najin unveiled a wonderful meal, and invited Amy to sit.
They sat and Najin poured the wine.........
Charybdis
As Lt. Najinn poured the wine into the chalice, the alert klaxon sounded and red lights began to flash.
This was followed by the message over the loudspeaker, "All mission personnel report to designated launch areas. One centar until mission launch!"
Najinn wanted to take his blaster and sear the loudspeaker with centivolts of laser fire, but he was unarmed at the moment.
Duty would have to come first.
Amy81
Najinn had left me there after apologizing over and over. I sat looking at the wonderful food. What a surprise. And what a well timed alert! I had a brief thought of Charybdis either very ESP-like, or watching us on a monitor somewhere.
Nah. Just amazing timing I decided. I stayed where I was. It was a beautiful setting, so much nicer than medlab, and I had much to think about.
LucianG
Doc finished her presentation, and was immediately hit by the questions. Unfortunately, she didn't have the answers; however, her main response was that an unknown poison of unknown type and quantity could wipe out the entire crew if properly introduced. Someone or something had it. Someone or something had to be found...and fast!
Urdea added it to the list of things his investigators were pursuing. They already had located a small cache of the poison used on the darts fired by Lolly and Modo, but this new poison had not been located. At least, they didn't know they'd located it, anyway. Urdea stepped back from the table for a moment, and placed a quick call to Burtano in the Security Office, informing him of the news. When he'd finished, Captain Urdea said, "We've got a suspect in the attack on Officer Sckutzi. If this pans out, I suspect he was involved in the engine compartment bombing as well. I'll let you know as soon as possible."
"Thank you, Captain Urdea," said Commander Sheba. "Please wrap this up as soon as possible. It will be a big morale booster for the crew if we can capture the guilty parties sooner rather than later. Doctor, thank you."
The door chimed just as Doc Bkj was about to exit. Sergeant Whitcher led Lieutenant Hawke into the Ready Room. Urdea nodded to Whitcher, who stepped just outside to wait.
Commander Sheba was clearly in no mood for silliness when Lieutenant Hawke was escorted into the room. She read the Colonial Warriors’ Code and did a very quick review of the charges, the whole time looking as if her stare was a laser about to burn a hole through Hawke. Lieutenant Colonel Charybdis, Captain Brie, and Captain Urdea watched in silence.
“Lieutenant Hawke, just to let you know, I have no time for antics. This ship and this crew have no time for your antics either. First, do you waive your right to have a Protector present in this hearing? If you do not, we will have to reschedule for sometime about three or four sectons from now, during which time you will remain in the brig.”
Hawke nodded and said, “I waive the right.”
Sheba nodded, as if stating silently that he had finally made one right choice. She continued, “You have two choices: you can throw yourself on the mercy of this crew, admitting to your actions, many of which are extremely well documented, or you can choose to go to Tribunal. IF, for some reason, you choose to take your chances in a Tribunal, I just want you to know that I personally will be the Tribune. Unfortunately, it may be another yahren or so before I can fit a Tribunal into my schedule, and considering the charges against you, you’ll spend the time between now and then rotting in the brig.” Her voice was quite harsh as she said the words leading to “brig.” She concluded by asking, “Lieutenant Hawke, think carefully before you answer: how do you plead?”

They all just stared at him for a few moments. There were no signs of remorse, no signs of repentance, and no signs of forgiveness being sought. Commander Sheba broke the ensuing silence, “Hawke, by pleading guilty to these charges, you have shown yourself to be willing to accept the consequences for your actions, whatever those consequences may be; however, while I would love to forgive and forget, I would forever be abandoning my pursuit of order and discipline aboard my ship. That I can not and will not do.
“Hawke, by order of the Colonial Military, I hereby strip you of your rank and membership in the Colonial Warriors Corps. Still being a member of the Colonial Military on active duty, you are hereby permanently transferred to Fleet Security, with the rank of Security Officer. Following a one yahren probationary period, you will be allowed to advance at the typical rate, if you have met all requirements, and IF and ONLY IF there have been no further incidents such as this. Captain Urdea, or an officer under his direction, will serve as your probation officer. Captain?”
“Commander, that will be Sergeant Whitcher, my aide,” Urdea said.
Sheba nodded, and continued, “This is effective immediately. Officer Hawke, let me warn you now. If there is another incident, this case will be reopened along with that, and the sentence you serve will be for both. Do I make myself crystal clear, Officer Hawke?”
Hawke nodded, as he looked down at his feet, and mumbled, “Yes, Ma’am.”
“Case deferred, with time served and sentence to be carried as stated, with stipulations, in accordance with Colonial Law. This hearing is dismissed. Officer Hawke, you may go.” Unsaid, but thought by all, was, “and don’t let the door hit you on the way out!”
For the second time in the last few cycles, Commander Sheba had ordered one of her elite Colonial Warriors to go to work in Fleet Security, this one permanently. She hoped she was doing the right thing.
Holodoc2000
Holodoc & Anubis had been talking some when Doc Bkj came over & asked Anubis to come into her office so that they could talk. Anubis went with Doc Bkj into her office & Holodoc went about doing a little clean up work before heading over to her sleeping area there in MedLab.
Holodoc finished up what she started & headed over to her sleeping area there in MedLab to check on Jadzia, Abby Tabby, & BrieCORA to make sure that they were all right & to get some needed sleep. It looked like she & Anubis wouldn't have much time together before he had to head out on another mission, Holodoc thought to herself.
Once she made sure that Jadzia, Abby Tabby, & BrieCORA were all right & that they had plenty of food & water, Holodoc layed down onto her bed to get some needed sleep.
The moment that Holodoc's head hit the pillow she was fast asleep, but the dreams didn't start until much later. When the dreams did start, Holodoc was back home with her parents & brothers. They were celebrating her graduation from Nursing School. They were having so much fun & then all of sudden the scene changes to the night that the Cylons attacked the Colonies. Everyone was running to try & get away from the Cylons. Holodoc had just witnessed them killing her parents & starting to come after her when she wakes up screaming, "NO! NOT MY FAMILY!," over & over again. While she was screaming out, Holodoc curles up in a small ball on her bed & just lays there crying & shaking.
Walksallroads
Anubis heads back to the medbay to tell Holodoc what Lucien has in store for him. He has the list of personnel with him, and notes that he, an Ensign, was placed before a Lt. in the position of SIC.
As he walks in, he hears Holodoc screaming, and notes that the other med-crew were otherwise ocupied or not there. Anubis rushes to Holodoc's side, and holds her hand, hoping that she will feel his presence, and calm herself into a more peaceful slumber.
Holodoc2000
Holodoc didn't know that Anubis had come into her sleeping area there in MedLab until she felt him holding her hand. Holodoc slowly opens her eyes & notices Anubis sitting there next to her & the look of concern on his face.
"Anubis," Holodoc says quietly, "My nightmare of where I am being chased by the Cylons has returned again. I....I....I am so afraid that they are going to get me & I don't know what to do."
"Anubis, please hold me," Holodoc says as she sits up in her bed.
Walksallroads
Anubis holds her, and manages to tell her that nothing will stop him from keeping her safe. Just as he finishes speaking, the launch claxon sounds, and with a look of regret flashing just before a well-used blank expression, he bolts to his locker, and replaces the parts of his flight-suit that had been dismembered. He then bolts to the launch bay, and hopps into his viper that seems to gaze into his very essence like a hawk. He goes through his pre-launch checks quickly, and taxies into position, behind Lt. Randirus, as the mission's second. As soon as they're cleared, they launch into the abyss.
Holodoc2000
Holodoc was just starting to feel a little better in having Anubis there with her & having his arms around her when the Alert Klaxon went off & Anubis rushes out to get ready for the mission that he was a part of.
Holodoc had hoped that she would have a little more time with Anubis than she did, but she knew that he had to go when he was called to duty. Holodoc prayed that Anubis would come back to her safely from this mission that he was going on.
Holodoc layed back down in her bed there in her sleeping area in MedLab. It took awhile before she could drift back off to sleep.
Charybdis
As Brie walked by, I caught her attention and motioned for her to walk with me. Brie probably thought that it had something to do with the upcoming mission, but that was not the case.
"Brie, I need to talk with you. Amy's release has come through and she has been assigned to bunk with you during the rest of her recovery." Brie smiled at the thought of that. "I know you'll take good care of her, but that's not the main thing I need to tell you."
Brie by this time grew concerned, "Charybdis, what is it?"
I fidgeted a little bit but finally spoke, "Brie, when I was in Med Lab a little earlier, I stopped to speak with Amy..." I stopped again, not sure how to tell her what I wanted to say, but I had to continue now.
"I told her that I loved her and that I wanted to see if things maybe could get back to the way they were." Brie's eyes opened and her eyebrows went rather high. She was kind of taken by surprise at this announcement. "Oh," was all she said.
"I can't let her go, Brie. You know how special she is. I know that it will be difficult, but we must face up to all these problems and move on from there. I don't want to move on from Amy. I can't."
Brie stood thinking, wondering what all this meant. "It won't be easy, what with all the trouble we've been having. And you know that you two being together might be a reason for it" she said.
"I know. But sometimes the things worth fighting for are the toughest choices we make. I just wanted to tell you, to let you know." Brie considered that a great honor. Since the last time when she was kept in the dark, she had been unsure if I had trusted in her, but telling her this now, seemed to make all the difference.
Brie spoke up, "Charybdis, I can't tell you or Amy how to live your lives, but promise me one thing. Don't push Amy too hard. She's just gone through a terrible ordeal and the last thing she needs is to be run through the ringer again. Her body and mind are very fragile right now."
I knew exactly what Brie meant. "I won't. I know she needs some time. But I let her know that I would be there for her through it all."
Brie nodded thinking that now she knew the secret and she was going to have Amy bunking with her. She wondered this time if Amy would tell her too. At least she knew and she had heard it firsthand from Charybdis. Her big decision now was to see if she would tell Amy about her knowing or if she would let Amy tell her first. She would have to wait.
Before we parted, I made sure to say one more thing, "And, Colonel Brie..." she kind of blushed when I said that, "take care of yourself down there. We don't know what to expect." I didn't have to say that, but Brie knew that I worried about her, about all the troops. She smiled back, "I always do don't I?" I smiled back and we went separate ways down the corridor.
Brie
"Colonel" Brie turned and glanced once more at Charybdis. She was glad that he had trusted her with this information. Under normal circumstances who Charybdis was dating would be none of her business, but as a warrior there was no such thing as normal. Brie worried about Amy. She knew that Najinn had strong feelings for Amy as well. "This complicates things," she mumbled to herself.

Aliana
Aliana sighed. Well, it had *almost* been her first mission actually getting to fly, but then the supply inventory had revealed either misplaced or missing viper parts -- critical viper parts. With Lt. Randrius needed on the mission, Major Lucian decided that Ensign Aliana needed to stay behind to continue working on the inventory. It was vital to know whether the parts were simply misplaced, as had been known to happen, or whether Black Squadron was actually *out* of those parts.
Okay, so it may not have been as exciting as flying a mission, Aliana reminded herself as she went to get some rest before continuing her work on the inventory, but it was certainly very important.
Well, maybe next time.
SiressEden
As Lt Eden stood in the rejuvenation center after recieving her orders to lead the standby squadron she was filled with a feeling of dread. There is something wrong she said. Something I should be remembering. She thought back on her survey mission to Frodar Epsilon. Fairly routine, except for the incident with Lt. Hawke. Wait! That was it! Lt. Hawke had destroyed those sattilites. They were more than just communication satilites, they were early warning systems. When they were destroyed a signal was to a nearby star system and an electical impulse was released that somehow affected her memory. The signal that was sent was a message for reinforcements. She wasn't sure if the signal was sent to additional Cylon Base ships or if it was some new and potentially more dangerous enemy the Cylons had aligned themselves with. Whatever it was, the Callisto and her fellow warriors on this mission could be flying into a trap. "I must report this at once" she shouted and then ran quickly out of the rejuvenation center.
Charybdis
The time had come when the Callisto moved to the appropriate spot behind Frodar Gamma. The missions would have to launch within the next centar.
I gave the go ahead to mission specialist Hanahan to make the announcement and to sound the alert klaxon. In an instant, the ready rooms and all pertinent locations sounded off with blaring sirens and red lights flashing.
"All mission personnel are to report to their designated locations for mission launch. One centar to launch..."
Gold, Black and Silver Spar squadron Warriors ran and darted every which way dropping what they were doing. This mission included of total of 33 Warriors that would be either on standby or participating.
"Here we go again," I said.
Ariana29
When the Alert Klaxon sounded & the announcement was made, Arianna grabbed her gear & headed towards the Gold Ready Room to await orders. Along the way she noticed that several others that were going to be on this mission running around also getting ready for their assignments.
Arianna reached the Gold Ready Room & sat down in one of the chairs & waited for the others to arrive & for Brie to come in to hand out the assignments to everyone.
Brie
Brie handled out final assignments, and then everyone went to perform their assigned duty. Boarding the shuttle she decided to let Lt. Skyler take the first shift as pilot. She needed to get her head straight. She was upset with Hawke's punishment, she would have preferred that he spend a sectar or two in the brig and then return to active service. Moving him to Fleet Security...didn't they already have enough hot heads? Brie wondered what had happened to Hawke. It wasn't long ago that she had almost trusted him enough to give him command on his flight for the last mission. Had he changed, or had she been completely wrong about him?
Brie's thoughts turned to Amy. She hoped that having her move in was a good idea. Major Joey had moved out for the time being, Amy might still be a target and Brie didn't want to risk hurting Joey or the baby that she was carrying. Joey agreed, it was simple since she already had separate quarters on the Callisto with her husband. Brie had wanted to help Amy move in but hadn't had the chance. The mission was coming at the worst possible time, but didn't they always? She knew that Charybdis would look after Amy, the other members of Gold Squadron would as well. This group was mostly like an extended family, Brie hoped that Amy would realize that before her resignation became official.
Najinn entered the shuttle with a smile on his face. That smile could mean only one thing...Amy. She clearly hadn't told him about Charybdis. Brie was in an awkward position. She needed to know what was going on, but she didn't really want to know. "Lieutenant," she said to Najinn, "I have something for you. I thought you might need it." Brie handed Najinn his blaster.
"Thanks," was all that Najinn said.
"You'll have to give it back when we're back on the Callisto," Brie informed him, "until your probation is over."
Najinn took his seat, still smiling. This had the makings of an interesting shuttle ride!
EnsignWendy
On hearing the Klaxon, Black Squadron, divided the six for the Moon, jumped into thier environ suits and ran to the daparting shuttles as they ran they went over their suit checks, looking for leaks and ensuring that there was enough oxygen for them to breathe if the need arose.
Wendy looked at the face of the Ensigns who looked haggard and weary, she gave Kris a knowing look and smiled to say that things were going to be OK, she should know Wendy had been in love before and knew what it felt like to be hurt by someone elses deceit, life did go on.
SiressEden
Lt. Eden heard the klaxon sound and rushed to the launch bay. She was in a near state of painc. She had just remembered vital information form the original survey mission of Frodar Epsilon that could have an effect on the outcome of this new mission. She must find Captain Brie and inform her before she launched. As she entered the launch bay, it appeared to be in a state of chaos as everyone rushed about making final preparations for the mission. She looked frantically about for Capt. Brie. Shouting would do no good as the noise was near deafening. Suddenly she spotted the Capt. near a shuttle and raced over to her. "Captain," gasped Eden,"I must inform you of additional information I have from the survey mission." The Captain turned, gave her a stern look and replied, "Lt. Eden, you made your report on that mission. This is not the time to be discussing this!" "I am sorry Captain but it is important. When Lt. Hawke destroyed those satillites, a distress signal was sent. I am not sure to whom, it might be additional Cylon baseships or a powerful ally of the Cylons. Either way this mission may encounter a greater and more deadly force than anticipated. I only come to now with this information as I belive my memory was somehow affected by this signal." The look on Captain Brie's face went from incredulous to concern. "Lt. Eden, this is a serious situation. I hope you haev rememebered all the information. If it was'nt for this mission I would sent you to medical bay for a cranial scan. I will inform Col. Charybdis and Comm. Sheba of this immediatly. But be assured this mission was carefully and well planned. We should be able to handle additional forces if need be. However, it is good to be forewarned so one can be better prepared. Now prepare yourself for the mission. Dismissed." Lt. Eden sighed a small measure of relief. She must now turn her attention to the matter at hand. Successful completion of this mission!
MedievalSong
Ensign - I mean Lt Kris - (i read i got promoted!) sighed as she heard the klaxxons. She looked at Wendy. "Thanks again Wendy." "No problem any time." "Well duty calls."
MaraJadeJedi
Mara Jade sat there and out of habit started to run when the klaxxon went off. She stopped and stood in the hallway as she watched the others run by. She wished them all luck as they ran by her. She saw Brie. "Captain, Brie, please bring him back to me alive and ok. And you bring yourself in one piece too. OK? Take care of yourselves. I won't be up there watching over ya..." Brie smiled. She remembered what it was like for her when she felt the same way about her husband. "I will Mara, I promise. And I wish you could go too. Get better." Mara watched them shut the doors to the ready room. Not knowing what to do with herself she headed to the bridge hoping she could be of some help up there so she can listen to the communications to watch over her Gold family and her Skyler.
Lt_Skyler
Skyler doubled checked the Cargo hold of the Infantry Jump shuttle. The special Heavy Assualt Land Ram was secured. Opening a small access hatch he saw the cases which contained Assualt Rifles and laser absorbing body armor. Combined with the weapons on the Ram and they could hold off a Garrison of Cylons. Skyler's old friend Sarge had sure fixed him up for this mission. Skyler hoped he had had time to do the same for the Black Squadron Warriors. Closing the hatch he then checked the weapons of the Inf. Jump Shuttle. 4 twin mounted, internal fired turbolasers. The Jump Shuttles were a little harder to fly than the standard fleet shuttles, but when you weren't sure of what you were about to step in, it was well worth it. The addition of weapons and armor made them tough as nails.
Skyler next climbed into the cockpit and strapped in. He had heard Brie and Najinn just outside the hatch and knew they would be ready to launch soon.

Ensign Sonja grabbed her gear and headed for the ready room. She as to be on the Black viper team to protect the moon mission or be the rescue for them. Sonja hoped it would not come to the latter. She awaited further orders.
Selene2001
Selene hurried and hopped into her Viper. Making sure all systems were ready for launch and that everything was going fine. She looked out the side of the cockpit to see all od the pilots scrabling to get in. She awaits the order to launch.
Stadia
Stadia's heart races as she collects her gear. She is glad to be going on this mission even though she hates land based mission. She wishes she could live in her viper.
She reaches up and rubs the locket for good luck and heads out to the launch bay.

Now, it reads more:
Name: Anubis Place of Origin: Project ZX134 Type: Prototype Gengineered Viper Pilot Personality Profile: Cold, calculated, methodical. Handles the stresses of the Vipers with unexpected grace and precision. Emotionally underdeveloped, this allows for more level battle-planning, and superior abilities to pilot Vipers and take orders. Medical History: Genetically altered to be immune to most common diseases. Several broken bones from combat training. Genetically altered for superior reflexes in combat.
Personal History: Cloned from a mixture of genetic materian and grown in a vat of fluid (F-X212) Genetic Catalyst. Trained from 5 years in the Viper Combat Craft, he recieved extensive training in hand-to-hand combat, Viper tactics, and small-arms combat.
Service record: ((here it lists places, dates, and numbers of enemies fought and destroyed. The largest number was 35 against 8. All hold varients to "pleasing results, low casualties." There are 20 places.))
*Note: A problem has arisen from the experimentals. F-X212 causes an instability in the genetic structure of the clones, causing rapid mutation to the point of death. Final outcome, the clones become a carbon-based gel. The surviving experimentals seem restless, and a revolt is feared to be imminent.
((side note, the revolt did happen. The experimentals have the code-names based on the gods of the underworld from various cultures, or pertaining to death in some way.))

Lt. BatGal, who was to command Operation Black Ball, was sick, and Doc had said she wouldn't be able to fly for at least a cycle or so. Major Lucian reluctantly removed her name from the list, and moved Lt. Merak into command. Lt. Stadia would be second in command of the ground force.
Newly promoted Lieutenant Anubis would fill the sixth position. Lucian temporarily left a blank line on the potential Viper escort line, hoping that BatGal would feel better or Aliana would finish her survey.
The BIG CHANGE:
According to Senior Mission Specialist Fenmarnis, the proposed landing site for the team was too far from the Cylon colony for the crew members to walk and carry all of their equipment. They'd need a Heavy Landram. For that, they'd be going by shuttle, not by Vipers.
In the Launch Bay, Lt. Merak said, "Say WHAT?!?"
LucianG
Major Lucian hated to make the changes he'd just made, but for the good of all, he knew they were necessary. He talked to Lt. Merak first, as the Techs were loading the assault shuttle. Launch would have to be delayed for about 20 centons, still well within the allowable launch window. Lucian explained that the original landing site had been determined unsuitable by the photogrammetrists. They'd found a very good (supposedly) site about 45 kilometers further away. To keep from walking that far, the Heavy Land Ram would be needed, and for that, they were taking the shuttle. Merak still looked a little preturbed, but he was a good Warrior, and went along without complaining, too much anyway.
Next, he found Lieutenant Anubus, who'd been busy lining up his Viper in the standby formation, but was now getting set for the mission on the moon. Within centons, he was reoutfitted with everything necessary, and had joined the rest of the landing party.
As he watched the shuttle group boarding and preparing to launch, Major Lucian felt awful about the whole mess, but better to fix it now than to try to fix it later. He also felt bad for Lt. BatGal, who he knew had been looking forward to leading the mission. He decided to take her some chicken soup after the launch, since chances were, she felt every bit as bad as he did.

Charybdis
The hastily formulated report from Lt. Eden came to the bridge. Commander Sheba and I perused it and came to the only coclusion we could:
***just in case any extra forces are out there, ALL flight-ready Viper pilots are to go on RED ALERT AND BE IN THEIR VIPERS READY TO LAUNCH IN A MICRONS' NOTICE!!
Order effective immediately!!!
The announcement sounded over the other mission klaxons and sent even more Warriors running around. THose in the ready rooms grabbed their flight gear and started for their Vipers. The trams were full of Warriors being transported to the launch bays. I had never seen the Callisto this busy, save during the battle of Shonada. It was a sight to see!
This was the most tedious kind of alert. Dozens of pilots sitting in their Vipers waiting to launch is not how you want to spend a cycle, but they were Warriors and they knew the risk.
Gold and Black Squadrons were located in Launch Bay Alpha, Silver Spar Squadron and Bridge personnel vipers were located in Launch Bay Beta.
Jarrynn
Jarrynn was really nervous and really needed to get something to eat. While in the messhall, she heard some people talk about an incident that got her attention about Nat and Kris and how Nat was chasing an upset Kris. Grabbing her food she headed back to the medlab, she needed to know what was in the classified section to make sure what she dreaded wasn't true. She hoped Doc could help her. So upon finding her, Jarrynn hoped she would help her. "Doc, I hope you can help me. I have been disclosed information that has me worried about the welfare of a whole squadron. I did some preliminary background search on this person and found there are some areas that are classified. This information could lead to what is going on with this person mentally. I am worried about this individual as a medical professional and this individual has already made an impact on the moon mission group. I hope nothing comes of that but I am still worried that unless confronted on these issues it will endanger more missions and the crew. I hope you will trust me as I have never done anything for you not to trust me. Will you please help me?" She could only wait and hope. (Please doc, help me.)

"Slow down Jarryn." Doc replied. " You want me to give you access to classified information and you haven't given me the name of the person who concerns you." She looked Jarryn in the eye and awaited a response. Also you are going to have to be a little more specific with what you know about this person affecting the moon mission." She sat on her desk and waited for Jarryn to reply......
Jarrynn
Jarrynn was trying to take a deep breath when Doc asked her for the person's name. Jarrynn sat down. She knew she had to tell the truth and hopefully Doc will understand and help her. "When that tech came in with the eye problem, he said some things that got me concerned about Lt Resonat. He mentioned a mission that he was the only survivor on. Well I looked into it since this tech was stressing that I should be careful letting him be with Kris. Well then I looked at his file to see if there was any truth to it. Kris had told me she was going to the moon mission and was hoping to spend time with Nat. The thing is that while getting lunch, I was told that the Black wings had to keep Nat from chasing a very upset Kris. I know that I am being biased since she is my twin. If I can't look at it then look at it for me. Please Doc, I know that her mind can't be in the right spot right now. If you won't look then yank her from the mission. She could put the rest in danger. This is a tricky mission from what I overheard. Make something up if you have to. Just please help me find out what is going on and why I have been warned to keep her away from him." Jarrynn knew that by spilling it all that it was now or never. For she was sure that Doc would tell the others to keep her from going in and well she didn't feel like keeping anyone in the brig company either. Jarrynn looked at Doc with hope.

Shortly after the alert was sounded, Commander Sheba gave the command to drop the Callisto’s cloak. Fuel consumption dropped considerably. She was confident that everyone had studied their mission orders carefully, and she hoped that all would go well. She gave the next series of commands, and Lieutenant Colonel Charybdis, Major CureMode, and Major Joey distributed them appropriately.
Moments later, Flight Specialist Geenie announced, “Gold One,” the mission shuttle, “you are cleared for launch when ready. Gold Glove,” the Viper escort wing which would be landing on Frodar Epsilon, “following launch of Gold One, you are to launch when ready.”
In Alpha Bay, Field Colonel Brie, Lieutenant Skyler, and Lieutenant Najinn prepared for launch. Their Viper escort was lined up awaiting launch from the launch tubes, with the other Gold Squadron Vipers, and as many auxiliary pilots from the bridge and from the Training Academy, which was an auxiliary arm of the bridge command, assembling as well.
In Beta Bay, the Shuttle Black One was almost ready for its launch to the moon of Frodar Epsilon. The Black Squadron standby Vipers were now joined by the rest of the Black Squadron Vipers in the queue, with their pilots awaiting launch orders that hopefully would not come. The Silver Spar Squadron pilots, the temporary “roommates” of Black Squadron in Beta Bay were aligned as well. Major Lucian and Captain Buellah were doing last micron checks of their squadrons prior to entering their own Vipers. Buellah shouted across to Lucian, “What is the threat? Have you heard?”
Lucian, hearing the same question asked by many of his squadron members, shook his head once again. Both men rushed to their Vipers and climbed inside. Lucian just hoped that the ground teams would reach their objectives prior to the order being given to launch. From what he’d seen in studying the mission plans, if they didn’t, he doubted that they’d ever come home again.
* * *
In Alpha Bay, Lieutenant Resonat climbed into a real combat Viper for the second time in the last few sectons. He had mixed emotions as he thought about what he was about to do, if ordered.
Does an order that contradicts another supposedly “invariable and immutable” order actually take precedent? The whole idea of the I & I clause was that future orders could not override such an order; however, the problem with I & I is that since no one knows what the future may bring, sometimes the I & I order could lead to disaster if the contradictory order is not followed. Nat hoped that this was not one of those cases. Still, he sat in his Viper on Captain Lazant’s order. If this part of the I & I could be violated for a second time in such a short period, perhaps he might find a way out of the remainder of the order. As he considered this, without achieving a successful breakthrough, thoughts of Lieutenant Kris and Sharla kept sneaking into his mind. Knowing that thoughts such as these were basically tantamount to a death sentence in combat, he tried desperately to put them out of his mind.
Lt_Skyler
"Gold One to Flight Control, Roger, we are a go."
Skyler thumbed the turbo button and the Jump Shuttle was hurled out into space. He checked the course heading and saw they were on a direct path to their landing point.
"Gold One to Callisto Flight Control. We are airborne, and proceeding to the LZ. Gold One out."
LucianG
"Black One to Flight Control, Roger, we are a go," said Lieutenant Merak.
The Black Squadron Jump Shuttle exited Beta Bay about a centon later than Gold's. Merak pulled his crew's craft into position a short distance behind the Gold Squadron Shuttle. A pair of the Gold Squadron mission Vipers positioned in front, and a pair were to the rear. By traveling basically single file, Flight Officer Solan had told the crews that they would probably have less of a chance of being detected. The Black Squadron shuttle would leave the formation at a predetermined point prior to arrival at Frodar Epsilon, for their planned arrival on the moon Frodar Epsilon Alpha.
In the Black Shuttle, all of the Black Squadron Warriors were concerned about not having a Viper escort during the last portion of their planned flight. In addition to these thoughts, Lieutenant Kris tried desperately to put away the thoughts of what she saw as her betrayal at the hands of one Lieutenant Resonat.
She wiped a stray tear from her cheek as she bit her lip, bringing her back to the reality of the current danger.
Brie
As the shuttle launched, Brie thought back to her conversation with Commander Sheba. The commander had thought that Brie was losing control of the squadron and threatened to take it away from her. But now Brie had been promoted, albeit temporarily, to Field Colonel and was in charge of a diplomatic mission. A diplomat! Brie had never thought of herself as such. She could have assigned someone else, but Charybdis has strongly suggested that Brie lead the mission herself. It was an unnecessary suggestion, Brie had been planning on leading it. Not only did she needed to prove herself to Commander Sheba once again, but as the leader of Gold Squadron she was probably best suited.
One thing bothered Brie. Why wasn't Sheba leading the mission herself? She was more diplomatic than anyone else aboard the Callisto. There were probably half a dozen others who were more qualified than Brie, including Lt. Col. Charybdis. It didn't matter, it was Brie's turn.
For the first time since she had been hit by Hawke, Brie was overly conscious of the bruise on her jaw. She hoped it didn't make her look like a pushover. She had considered trying to use some type of concealer but decided against it. Concealer could easily come off. The last thing that she wanted was for anyone to think that she had something to hide, no matter how small. With that thought, she checked the transmitter that was hidden in the heel of her boot. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea but had allowed herself to be talked into it. She had let Gold Glove know that she was prepared to turn it off it she thought necessary.
Brie was glad that she had chosen Skyler and Najinn for the shuttle. The Gold sims seemed so long ago! She trusted them both, even after Najinn's "meeting" with the Black Shirts. She hoped that getting off the Callisto would be good for him. She thought that the three of them should work well together, she prayed that she was right.
Stadia
Stadia quickly pulled the straps down tight. It was as usual, just in time. She had finished stowing her gear. She looked up as she was forced back into her seat.
She held onto the straps. She murmured to herself how she hated land based missions.
She felt the forces ease up on her body. She looked around at her fellow warriors seeing the tension etched into their faces. She decided to try and get some rest for it was going to be a tough mission.
Najinn
Najin was very grateful that Brie had included him in this mission, while he wanted to spend every moment he could with Amy, he realised that Brie had gone out on a limb by including him and he was going to repay that loyalty with some serious attention to duty.
He sat in the shuttle, smiling as he thought of Amy.
He was glad that he had found Skyler earlier as well, he felt part of the team again, and that was an important feeling. So long in medbay, so long fighting the mess on board the Callisto, at last back to the real job of defending ship and fulfilling the missions a warrior should be concerned with.
The mission was now paramount in his mind, his thoughts of love and life would have to wait, but he couldn't help smiling.

Stadia
Stadia unstraps her belt and moves to check her equipment. If what she heard was true, this was going to be the mission from hell and she wanted to be prepared for anything.
She rummaged thru the equipment checking everything. She smiled as she found the locket. The klaxon sounded had startled her, even though she knew it was coming. she tossed it in the bag and tan. She picked it up and wrapped it around her finger as she zipped her bag closed.
She settles back into her seat and closes her eyes once a gain.Soon her thoughts drift back to her home. Her home before the cylons came and destroyed it.
"Stadia. Stadia, wake up." She startles awake to see her dad standing before her. She looks up at him and smiles.
"Sorry daddy, I came out her to study. I guess I was tired."
He smiles and offers her his hand. she reaches up and takes his hand. They walk through the plants. She stops to pick a delicate flower for her mother.
As they come to the farmhouse, they see the unmistakable shape of a cylon fighter. It sweeps up to her left and then swoops back down, firing it at the farm house. Her daddy pushes her asideand yells, "stay hidden!" I watch as daddy tries to sve momma only to loose his life.
The other crew members aboard the shuttle look at Lt. Stadia. She is crying out in her sleep.
"No dont go there!'
SiressEden
Lt. SiressEden listened to the deafening silence after the first group left for the mission. She was in charge of the second standby viper group. It was hard to wait, the uneasiness she felt over this mission consumed her, and did not help her disposition. She would be ready, if needed.

I sat for the longest time by myself in hydroponics, feeling like a castaway on the only peaceful spot in the whole galaxy. In a way it was nearly so, for the rest of the Callisto was bustling with activity over the mission at hand. Hydroponics felt like the eye of a hurricane.
From the glass of wine he had poured, I drank a silent toast to Najinn, and for the lords to protect him. I drank again to Charybdis, that great enigma of my life, for being just that all over again. I then drained the glass to Adrian, late of fleet security, for in the end he had showed that he was a decent man, capable of great sacrifice. Why must we learn about what people are really like, when we find out when it's too late?
With noone else around, it was up to me to clear the picnic Najinn had surprised me with. The alert had interrupted an evening that could have led anywhere. I had no idea where it might have gone. Confusion that I thought had ended was once again playing tug-of-war with my heart. I thought Charybdis was in the past, yet he was back, suddenly unwilling to let me go. At the same time Najinn was there, determined to sweep me off my feet with gallantry. What was I going to do?
I emptied the table, and grabbing my dufflebag I headed for Captain Brie's quarters. I looked forward to a little time with my most trusted friend and advisor aboard the Callisto. There was so much to sort through. My personal life was a complete mess! It had been so for quite a while now. I silently prayed for Brie's safe return.
I reached Brie's quarters and was thankful that it was unlocked. I really didn't feel like going to the Gold Barracks. It was empty now, the squadron standing by for the mission. It only would reinforce my feelings of isolation.
I entered Brie's quarters and hit the lights. Tossing my bag on the sofa I walked over to Brie's desk. I ran a hand along it's surface. My resignation was tucked inside somewhere. I felt like burning it and getting my uniform on, and run to the launch bay to join my mates. But I wasn't cleared for duty, so I just stood there. Like everything else, I wasn't sure if that's what I really wanted to do anyway.
Absentmindedly I started emptying my duffle bag. I stopped when I came to the gift Charybdis had given me. I opened the box and re-read his note. I stared at the necklace, then took it out of the box. Walking over to the mirror, I tried it on for size. I stood for the longest time, staring at my reflection in the mirror, wishing the person looking back at me would tell me what in the world I should do.

As soon as the last ship left the Callisto, Sheba ordered the cloak to be restored. The Battlestar would begin its journey on a relatively straight course to the planned stationary orbital position near the equator of Frodar Epsilon.
At the same time, the little string of ships was proceeding in single file on a more curvilinear course toward their objectives. Since there was a significant difference in orbital position between Gamma and Epsilon, most of the horizontal difference would be made up far from Epsilon. This would allow the closing on the world to be made almost directly in line with the star Frodar. This approach route had been judged by the Navigation officers to give the best chance of approaching the planet unseen by humans, Cylons, or electronic surveillance equipment. The Black Squadron shuttle would break out of the formation a very short time before the Gold Shuttle and Vipers began their descent to Frodar Epsilon. The Black Squadron Warriors weren’t exactly thrilled about having to make the approach to Frodar Epsilon Alpha in the shuttle, but making the most dangerous part of the trip without a Viper escort seemed to be asking for trouble. In the joint briefing, Solan had said that having the Viper escort between the planet and the moon would almost certainly give away the mission, and Fenmarnis had briefly commented on the myriad problems of having someone stay in a Viper on the moon’s surface while the landing party did their work. Still, none of the Black Squadron team was exactly convinced on either count.
Under complete radio silence, six small vessels, with a total of thirteen Warriors, tracked their way to their destinations. Fortunately, the ships were well on their way before any of the more superstitious crew members made the connection; still, it wasn't long before the rumour started that this was one asp-bitten mission.
MaraJadeJedi
Mara Jade looked around on the bridge. It was obvious that her help was not needed, so stayed out of the way and headed out. While walking along she remembered that Amy wasn't out on the mission either. Both ladies were banged up pretty good, so they were no good to the fleet right now. Mara headed along looking for her ol friend, eager to talk about finally making Lieutenant and also to pass some ideas on her sealing ceremony to Skyler. Thinking of him, made her smile again. Now where is Amy?
Amy81
I stood in Brie's quarters for the longest time, looking at my reflection in the mirror. I saw a lot more than just my image looking back at me. I saw a young, confused girl who should be tending crops on the Agro ship, not trying to make it as a warrior. It felt so easy to give in to it, to give up, but could I live with myself when I finally get on a shuttle to the Agro ship and turn my back on the Callisto forever? It was a very good question, and I saw my face, brow furrowed in thought over it. Careful, Amy, you'll get wrinkles!
Then there was Charybdis and Najinn. What to do? Someone will end up hurt, probably me. What to do, I still did not know. I fingered the necklace Charybdis gave me. I was going to take it off, but felt safe since Najinn was on the mission. NO harm in wearing it for a while. Lords, protect Najinn, I prayed for the thousandth time since he launched. I had been through this worry before. But what will I tell him when he returns? Run into his arms, or break his heart?
There were others that worried for the safety of their own loved ones, and Mara came leaping to the front of my memory. She was looking forward to being sealed with Skyler, who also was out on the mission. What must she be going through? I could only imagine.
It was time to catch up with Mara. We hadn't seen much of each other, since...really since that memorable night way back when at the Officer's Club, when we had all dressed up and had a blast. I'd seen her since, most recently in medlab while we were both laid up, but we hadn't talked all that much. Time to rectify that.
I touched up my make-up, doing a decent job of hiding my fading bruises, and changed to a different set of clothes. I picked out a top that mostly would hide the necklace, which I didn't want to take off just yet. This way at least, I wouldn't be drawing all that much attention to it, as I would if I had worn something more low cut. Satisfied with my appearance, I left Brie's quarters, hoping to find Mara somewhere in this immense battlestar.
