With his hands shaking, Captain Suttir contacted the Galactica. Omega’s face came on the monitor. Pierce spoke immediately. “I don’t want a flunky, I want to speak to Apollo. Now!”
Omega didn’t seem at all surprised. “One Micron, Major Pierce.”
In little more than a micron Commander Apollo was there. “What’s going on, Pierce?” he asked, although he had a pretty good idea of the answer.
Pierce grinned. “I’m taking over the fleet,” he replied simply. “I have control of the Agro Ship and the Livestock Ship. I’ll be back in touch in five centons, Apollo.” He purposely didn’t use the Commander’s rank. “Then I want to speak with you, Tigh, Sheba and anyone else who might want to hear about the changes that are going to take place.”
“We’re not giving in to any demands,” Apollo warned.
“Then everyone will starve to death,” Pierce said casually. “Master Pierce out.”
Apollo stared at the blank screen for a micron, full of frustration. “Get President Tigh here immediately!” he ordered. “And contact Commander Sheba and the Callisto.” As Sheba’s face filled the monitor he sighed. “The mutiny has started,” he said, and filled her in on his brief conversation with Pierce.

As the vipers were coming to a stop I noticed someone in the dark corner near the asencion tube. Just before it ground to a halt, I popped open the canopy, through my helm and jumped on the starboard wing to get some cover. As Dolet's viper was on my right he had jumped out as well next to me.
"What's wrong Major?" he asked.
"Just as I was coming to a stop, I spotted someone over by the asencion tube. It might be that security officer, but it could also be a trap. Lets just wait to see what happens next. If it is Ange, make sure you and him lock down this repair bay so no-one can enter but any help can exit."
"Sure will Major, you can count on me." Dolet's coolness under pressure helped things a lot. Using what we could for cover we made our way closer to the person in the repair bay. We were about to make our way over to some large crates when the lone figure spoke.
"If your are the viper pilots I sent that message too, its about time you arrived."

I was standing there still wondering what the frack was going on when a highband scrambled message came through.
Geenie turned to announce it. "Put it up" I replied.
The garbled transmisstion came through. "Callisto this is Major JustinB. I have received a message from security officer Ange aboard the Agro ship. There's a mutiny in progress and I intend to investigate with Ensign Dolet. Be there when I need you. "
"It's just gotten a lot worse," I said to no one in particular.

Brie sat quietly listening to Pierce’s conversation with Commander Apollo. For the first time she was nervous. She wasn’t nervous for herself, it was for all the people who could get hurt or killed because of Pierce’s insanity.
She tried to formulate a plan, but nothing came to her. There were two things that she was certain of. The first was obvious, Commander Apollo would never turn control of the fleet over to Pierce. The second was that there was very little chance that she would come out of this alive. The thought of dying didn’t bother her, she had always known that she would give her life in service to the fleet, although she had expected to be killed by the Cylons rather than by a madman. But that didn’t even matter. She had to figure out a way to use her death to help others. She had no idea how many people were on the Agro Ship, but she had to use the end of her life to help extend theirs. She would do it for Amy.
Amy. Brie wondered how many people on the Agro Ship knew her. How many had she grown up with. Why Amy would leave such a beautiful place to become a warrior. Who did those she had left behind blame for Amy’s lifeless condition.
Thinking about Amy, Brie wished that she had been allowed one last chance to see her. Now that would never happen. If only Boleman had kept his promises!
Brie shook her head slightly. Thinking about her regrets wouldn’t help the people of the Agro Ship. There had to be something else she could do, something to make Pierce’s intense hatred towards her count. She needed to stay sharp, maybe in his arrogance he’d make a mistake. If only she weren’t so tired...

"If you are the viper pilots I sent that message to, its about time you arrived." Ange looked at the two warriors. It felt great to see that uniform again. Then his face fell. "Only two of you?" And one looks like he's just a kid! Maybe Amy's age, if that...
"That's all for now. Major JustinB", Justin said as he extended a hand. "This is Ensign Dolet."
Ange shook the Major's hand, and nodded to Dolet. "I'm afraid I'm all you've got for now as well. I just don't know who I can trust... Ship's security forces seem to be part of the mutiny, that much I overheard when I got close to the main office. But exactly how many of our force has turned, I couldn't say."

I raced back to speak with Sheba. She was on the monitor talking with someone.
"Commander?" I asked urgently.
"I know. Have all squadrons placed on alert," came the reply.
I quickly headed back to the bridge. "Geenie, all squadrons on alert!"
The klaxon began sounding throughout the ship...

On the bridge of the Galactica Commander Apollo worked quickly. He had immediately sent for President Tigh, who was there within microns. After filling him in Apollo spoke with security, the members of which then made a physical line at the bridge’s entrance. No one was to enter or leave the area without permission. Most importantly was keeping all reporters out of the area. If this ended up on IFB there would be widespread panic. He hoped that on the Callisto Commander Sheba was taking similar precautions.

"I'd better check on securing the bay" Dolet said. He was trying to maintain a cool exterior but inside he was a bundle of nerves. Fresh from the academy and right into the middle of the worse crisis the fleet has seen in yahrens!
"We're good" Ange replied, raising a hand in a halting motion. "There's only one functioning exit now, and I control it. The only way we'd have been found out is if you were detected flying in or if the bay door being open was noticed. Since no one has rushed down here..."
"Unless they are waiting for us to exit the bay" JustinB observed.
"Could be" Ange nodded, "but I doubt it. I don't think they are that good to act so sly. If they saw vipers coming in, they'd have reacted."
"Hope you are right" JustinB replied.
"So when are more of you coming?"
"They won't risk it" JustinB said flatly. "It'd turn into an ugly hostage stand off real fast. The commander is going to give us as much time as possible before she's forced into escalating things."
"What can the three of us do?" Dolet asked.
"Increase our numbers for one" JustinB said. "Everyone can't be in on this mutiny. There has to be a place where people are being detained. We need to free them, even the odds a little."
Ange nodded. "True. There was some resistance, but a few people were killed from what I could tell, and that discouraged any resistance from taking hold. If they are holding people, it'd be in the main rec center. It's the biggest space aside from the fields themselves, but easier to contain."
"Then lets do it" Dolet said bravely.
"Not so fast" Ange said. "You guys'll stick out with those uniforms. We'd better change you into worker clothes before we try anything. Ships laundry is two flights up. We'd better get up there first."
Pistol drawn, Ange walked to the exit, hit the button to open the door, then cautiously peeked out to see if things were clear...

With the klaxon sounding, Major Buellah hurried over to Sheba to inquire what was happening. “Commander, is it Brie?” he asked, worried.
“No,” Sheba replied. “In fact I had almost forgotten about her. This is something totally different. At least it’s not Cylons.” She knew that she should tell him what was happening, but he would know soon enough. Everyone would. “Gold Squadron was already preparing for an assignment, some of Black is returning, and Bronze is fresh. The Galactica is having a problem with their launch tubes, so it’s up to us.”
“Make sure the vipers are searched before they’re allowed to launch,” Buellah suggested. Sheba stared at him but didn’t say anything. “It will only take a micron, but you know as well as I do that most of Gold Squadron wouldn’t hesitate to hide her. Brie needs to be found.”
“You’re right,” Sheba agreed with a sigh. “Send security to check all vipers before they’re allowed to launch.”

Logan scoffed silently as Pierce finished his conversation with Apollo. She knew there was no way in Hades Apollo would ever give in to this cretin, but she was beginning to wonder how any of them would get off the Agro Ship alive. She had noted the Vipers landing in Repair Bay Three and had covered up for it, knowing that no one as yet suspected anything. She hadn't been able to do anything to let Brie know she was on her side. Although no one seemed to pay much attention to what Logan was doing, everyone seemed to be watching Brie, furtively if not outright. Logan let her mind drift for a micron back to her friends aboard the Callisto. She knew they must have noticed her absence by now and she was wondering who was having the biggest fit, Wraith or Skyler. She only hoped that Skyler had gotten the signal she had left for him. That and she hoped he had found rope strong enough to restrain Wraith from coming after her...But she knew that Skyler, Brik and Ike would be able to reason with Wraith, or at least, she hoped that they would be able to. She looked around the bridge, gauging everyone's positions just in case she had to act quickly. Captain Suttir looked a nervous wreck, but why would the Captain of the Agro Ship need to ever worry about mutiny? Chip seemed content enough to look up at Pierce every so often with complete adoration in his eyes. Brie was still seated by Pierce, not looking at anything in particular it seemed, but Logan had a suspicion that Brie was doing exactly the same thing that she was at this point, trying to figure out a way to get as many people out of this alive as possible, no matter the cost. Pierce's other flunkies were standing around in anticipation of his next whim. 'At least that slimy weasel Comeek isn't here leering at me. I just might have to kill him, just on principle.", Logan thought to herself. 'Well, guess all I can do now is wait.'
