Can't believe it's here again and so soon, but another yahren has passed. Unfortunately, this time we have the sad news to remember that Richard Hatch passed away earlier this year. Still shocking since he was the face of the revival movement which began back around 97 or 98 and was the primary reason why I'm still here today writing this!!
It was because of Richard's passion for the revival that got all of us talking about BSG again when it was considered dead and gone. well, we proved them wrong. Even if we did not get our continuation movie, we got continuation novels and we ultimately got to know a lot of great people and friends onboard our own beloved Callisto. I wouldn't change anything. We gave it the good fight but we lost. Nothing to hang our heads about.
Pop open an abrosia (or is that pour an ambrosia?) and celebrate BSG!!!
Can't wait for next year! 40th is on our doorstep!!

Salute! Happy 39th! It's also hard to believe that number 40 will be here so soon, or that we're old enough to remember it!
Regarding the drink, ambrosia was the ancient Greek drink of the Gods. My understanding from the now apparently defunct Battlestar wiki (that's sad!) is that in BSG, it was spelled ambrosa (without the "I"). I had to go back and edit several of my stories on FanFiction when to correct that when I discovered that a couple of years ago.
