With the Warrior recovered and on the way to the Med Lab, Lucian checked the situation status. Major JustinB had just taken off a few centons before, and the strange blips on the screen hadn't been seen in a while. Taking a chance, he approached Commander Sheba. When she seemed to reach a stopping point in her work, he said, "Commander, with your permission, I'm heading to the Med Lab to check on the mystery Warrior that was just towed to the Callisto." He gave her a quick status update, and then headed to the Med Lab.

It is said that with the fight in the courtyard the first seed of resistance was planted.
Maudred and the man from another place comforted the women and it was said that the man vowed, there and then, to stop the opression and to help the people make a stand against the Tygran invaders.
So it was from there that Maudred and the man went into the hills, avoiding Tygran patrols.
And many of our people flowed to the man, having heard of his act of defiance.
The man stood amidst his followers and raised his voice:
"We must strike back at the soldiers if we really want to make a difference!"
But Maudred was reluctant, even though he knew the man had a destiny.
"We are too few, " he said: "and the Tygran soldiers are too well armed."
"Then we must make a statement...." the man said.
"A statement?" Maudred asked.
"Yes, " said the man: "a statement, and then, more will come..."

There was a short sharp shock, followed by the bleeping of several of the life support instruments in the medbay, as Artus opened his eyes for only just a moment.
All his muscles seemed to spasm as he sat up.
But then he fell back down again and returned to his comatose state.

They went out to the Tygran camp in the middle of the night. Maudred, the man, and three volunteers from the village of Escaroth.
As was their custom, the Tygran soldiers had made their camp near the river, so they could water their horses.
The man surveyed the scene and pointed towards the hills.
“This is a kettle valley.”
Maudred looked at him, puzzled.
The man turned to the other four and said;
“Let’s go and find a big rock…”

It didn't take long for them to find a suitable rock. Prying it loose was another matter all together. They worked at it all night, but at the end of the night it still wasn't loose.
It looked like it would not take that much more time to loosen it though.
So the man said unto the volunteers from Escaroth;
"Go forth into the other villages and find as many men and as many bows and arrows you can find. Meet us here again tomorrow."
And Maudred smiled, for he finally realised what the man was up to.

"It's time. We have to let him go now."
"But he might remember.."
"The procedure is never failsafe."
"Chances are he might remember things anyway. With the proper trigger. Keeping him like this will only reinforce those memories."
"We should have returned him exactly where we found him."
"That matter has been discussed. If we leave him there, he would be too far from his mothership, and he would have died."
"I'm not so sure about that. He would never have seen his people again, but he has proven to be very resourceful."
"He has endured enough already."
"If not for us he would have died on that planet."
"If not for us he would not have been there in the first place."
"He willingly gave up his life for those people."
"Don't you think that at least earns him the right to go home?"
"If you put it like that. Yes."
"So we are agreed?"
"Yes."

Artus woke up in the medbay on board the Callisto with what felt like the worst hangover since the Lords left Kobol.
After opening his eyes, he immediately shut them again.
"Great Sagan, what have I been drinking?"

"Satisfied now?"
"Well, yes, I suppose so."
"Don't forget he would have been dead if we hadn't taken him in the first place."
"Yes, I know. And so would that other person."
"So why do you insist we place him back here. He had agreed on the price himself. I admit we used him for our cause, but he did so willingly. And in doing so he knew he would have to give up his life."
"I know. But he did very well."
"So this is a reward of some kind?"
"Let's just say I have a lot of hope for the boy. He has matured greatly. And champions of this kind are so very rare these days."
"So it is self interest in the end that is being served here."
"It always is."
"Well, I do not have high hopes for your champion. The woman he loves is carrying another man's child."

“And you have no idea how those scars got there?”
“I’m telling you, doc, last thing I remember was trying to get to Agelastus, because he was supposed to be on my wing. However it turned out he was on the other side of the melee over Pangara Major Delta.”
As everybody looked at him with surprise in their eyes, Artus decided to make a dramatic pause.
On second thought, the way they were looking was creeping him out…
“Anyway, I remember that when I get there, Agelastus had located the Cylon base ship. I was low on fuel but I thought, nevermind the felgercarb, might as well go out as a hero.”
Another pause.
“OK, stop staring and tell me already. Did I make it to the baseship? Is everybody safe? How are Agelastus, Marcus, Najin and Hawke? Everybody make it out allright?
Are major Brie and colonel Charybdis doing well?
Oh, and how’s Amy?”
