Time for my excuse the thought. He turned to the closest Warrior, an Ensign....
"Ensign, I don't see Lt. Logan here, do you know where she is?" The Ensign, taken aback by being addresses by a senior officer stammered out a reply.
"Sir, I think she um was going to er, I mean sir, she..." Knowing time was slipping away..
"Ensign, spit it out...."
"Sir, check the computer lab, she usually goes there when she is off, to use the computers."
"Thanks Ensign..." and Skyler left, following Brie. Sure it had only been Ten Microns, but he didn't want to be late. Glancing back at the Ensign he smiled. He knew where Logan was, if she wasn't assigned to a duty, she was in front of a Computer. She had several friends in the Fleet and spent all of her free time chatting with them....

As the Viper pilot scanned the sea of people in the ready-room looking for a familiar face, he finally spotted his old buddy, Lt. Brik--with a dubious look on his face--trying to slip unnoticed through the exit door. A sly grin formed on Wraith's face as he quickly downed the last of his drink, then waded through the crowd to follow him to freedom.
Stepping through the door, he peered down the corridor; saw Brik catching up to another good friend...Ike!
"Well, well...so this is how y'all treat a brother!...make your escape and just leave me stranded in the "dungeon" The two pilots swung around to see who it was, gave a friendly nod of recognition, "Hey...there he is! What d'ya say Wraith?"
Glad to see his old friends again, Wraith hurried to catch up with them, patting them each on the shoulder.
"Got room for one more in this party?"

Astraea was a little surprised by Brie’s quick exit, but a bit relieved as well. Astraea couldn’t quite put her finger on why there always seemed to be tension between the two of them, but her return from captivity only seemed to emphasize the situation. She had a great deal of respect for Brie, but, she had to admit, she was a bit intimidated by her as well.
There were only a handful of people left at the party hovering over the food and drink table, so Astraea decided to follow Brie’s second command, get to know her squadron. She introduced herself to the people that were left and explained to them that she was considering writing a Cylon survival guide, then she asked them one simple question; “If you were to be held in Cylon custody, besides how to escape, what is the one thing that you would like to know?”

"There's always room for you, Wraith!" The three proceeded down the corridors of the great battlestar, one of the last impressive remnants of a once proud and flourishing race, engaged in the simple grace of living and enjoying the company of friends.
"So, I haven't really had a lot of time to just talk to much of anyone since that whole thing with Pierce. That whole business made me realize that I need to concentrate on more warror skills than piloting! "And..." Brik looked lost in thoght for just a micron or two... "I never got around to investigating that surviving cell leader of Pierce's followers that looked like Baltar. Would anyone be willing to help me see what I can find out? Of course, that will be after we make sure that Vera hasn't caught an illness of some sort and tucked her in." He grinned to let Ike know that he was just playing with him and mildly cuffed the man in the shoulder. Ike replied "Hey now, you can never be too sure AND it's a pilot's duty to see to the welfare of his equipment and his craft!" Brik and Wraith looked at each other and began to laugh out loud. After a quick moment Ike joined them. Further down the halls they roamed, laughing and receiving the occassional odd stare from passers-by.
