Paula, thanks for the encouragement.
And Tony, not a problem. I know we all have more important things to do, and when we get the chance to log on we do what we can. That's nothing to be sorry for. I know that everyone tries their best to keep the stories going.
But I was speaking figuratively about no one following me. I meant it to say that I was introducing a lot of things that maybe I should have gotten approval of before starting. Maybe as part of a larger picture my story might have been okay, but as one of the few steadily ongoing stories should it be so dominant? I didn't think so. I didn't want curious people checking us out and being turned off what I was doing. And I didn't want you guys to politely back away and just let me go on, hoping I'd cut it out. That was partly what I was sensing, that I was running off with too extreme an idea.
So I look forward to you guys getting creative, and my characters will react as things affect them, and I'll try to stay within a more acceptable framework when I post!

Actually, Brie, you do have some precedence for talking with dead people. Remember in Richard Hatch's first book, Armaggedon, Apollo does end up talking with Zac who is now a being of light! So, it actually IS BSG in the end...
Amy, all of us are different in how we play our characters. Mostly, I have been a reactionary type who handles things as they come up. You, on the other hand, have always been very, very good at taking the lead in stories. I don't know why all of a sudden that's a big no-no.
We have taken people to task for somethings (read: Scott and his personal cloaking device!) so we would have eventually said something if it was waaaay too far out there, but in all of our discussions, never once was anything ever said about your storyline. That's because according to the game we are playing it does fit right in!!!
But, I digress, it is by your command that we drop the whole thing. I will be in my temporary quarters waiting for any other story to get going that I can get into...

Amy,
You have such a stubborn streak, you MUST be my daughter. But I'll respect your wishes and let it drop, after saying one more thing to everyone.
Amy did not come up with this storyline and just start posting it out of the blue. She had shared her ideas with me and I told her repeatedly that she should do it. So if anyone out there thinks that it WASN'T BSG, she did go through proper channels before introducing her story.

And I was eventually going to come to where Cylon Amy was (for a checkup or something) and I would've let the sparks fly!!!

Okay, you guys have been weakening my resolve...
Thanks for respecting my wishes on this. But now I'm not sure what to do. I do still have the majority of the posts in one form or another. Should I put it all back? I don't know. You guys have me confused now. I didn't think it would attract all this attention when I pulled them. I figured it would be more of a relief, actually.
It'd take me a little time to sort it all out, and I'd have to change the conclusions since I already blurted them all out, but if you guys actually liked it I could try again. I could go either way, take it or leave it...
I mean, none of the reasons I pulled the story for were valid, apparently, if what you all are saying is true. Just because I'm stubborn is no reason to stick to a decision that might be wrong, right?
I will say this. It's been nice, and surprising considering how I felt initially about the story, that you guys have been so supportive. I had no idea. Whatever I end up doing, thanks for that. And I'll try to be less critical of myself when it comes to this stuff in the future.

Okay, everyone, on the count of three. One...two...three...PUT IT BACK!
It's really hard to know what other people are thinking, especially when no one tells you. I think we should all use this as a reminder that WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER and in the future, actually tell people if we do or don't like something. If someone wants to be involved with someone else's story, write to them and ask. It's that simple, and it goes for all of us, no matter how long we've been involved or our position in the game.
And Amy, WHEN you repost everything, I'm glad you'll have to change some things, because I'm looking forward to becoming a grandmother. I've already started picking out things for the baby's room...can a baby play with a light saber? She's not getting my Darth Tater!

Amy, You know my thoughts because I sent you a pm on this subject, but I agree that you should put the story back. Part of the fun of the rpg is the creativity and no-limits attitude of the group. I, for one, would love to see this storyline develop. Hope you'll reconsider.

Final word on this, I swear!
I have some of the stuff restored, and hopefully I can get it up today, but it's going to be different. How different I'm not sure. The stuff I restored, some of it anyway, has already been altered a little. I'm not sure where my muse went, but I'm struggling with it a little so I'm going to let it rattle around in my mind for a while before going further.
Thanks again everyone for the feedback and opinions!

I have been reading through the updated posts in regard to Amy's storyline and I am trying to piece exactly what has happened...
According to what's on the board now, the experiment at trying to put Amy's consciousness is not working. Also, the last thing on there about AMy's condition was something vague about "changing things" when the nurse got some test results back, but nothing was stated in any of Amy's posts. Therefore, according to the story as it now stands, we don't know what the test results came back with...
Is that the gist of it right now??
