Hello everyone! As most of you know, the Callisto has been around for more than 10 years now. Back in the very beginning, we went through the trouble of actually creating some unique images and symbols for the Callisto. One of those is the actual design of what the Callisto warriors would use as their squadron/ship shoulder patch. One of the things I have always wanted to do was to get the design made into an actual patch. I have begun the process by submitting to a patchmaker for a quote. What I want to do here is to have anyone who is interested in purchasing a Callisto patch post here with the quantity you desire. Based upon the demand, we can change the quantity ordered and that would affect the pricing. Right now, an order for 20 3.5" patches would run us somewhere a little over $7 per patch. If we can get more interest, an order for 50 patches would cost us a bit more than $3 a patch. Interested..... At the $7 dollar price I would commit to five (5 ) patches at this time... Number may go up as it get closer to reality.... at the just over $3 price I would speak for ten (10) patches. Hope this helps in your quest. I will forward this to our lost Warriors in Gold Squadron and see what I can get going from them....

OK, I have gotten the price quotes:
20 patches: $7.70 each plus a small shipping charge which I will need to recover.
50 patches: $3.42 each plus shipping
However, there is one thing about these prices, they only last until May 31st!! So, if we want these prices, we must submit our order by May 31st...
Please post here how many patches you would like and if we can get over the 20 amount, then we can definitely go for the 50 patches and the cost will almost be cut in half!
By the way, in order to generate more interest, do you all have any problem opening this order up to people over at Colonial Fleets and Blackstar Squadron?
With more people possibly interested, we might be able to get up over 20 patches and then drop the price? Let me know what you think and I can start interest threads over there as well..

While I would love the idea of only Gold Squadron or Callisto members having this patch, I also understand the realities of life. A small group just can not justify it sometimes. If we can not do it alone...
Can we set a dead line for Callisto members of say one week (May 8th) to reach the required numbers and if not then open it up. It would also mean we would have to beat the bushes and everyone contact inactive members and try to get this going.... Can we do it.....

I will take 5 of them myself.....I may even actually put it on my uniform........speaking of which, does the Callisto have its own collar pins? if so, what does it look like? I would like to get some of those for my uniform as well

OK, let's see how many patches can be ordered with only Callisto members right now. Let's take until May 11th to see...start beating the bushes everyone! Now's your chance to get this once in a lifetime patch for the Callisto!
I will take 5 also, so that's already 15!!!
Rick, as for the collar pins, I believe we might have chosen the JAG pins at one point, but I'm not too sure. It has been a long time...

In a private email I had Johnny "Lt. Ike" Ikner post that he would take two (2) patches so that would be 17. I also have heard from Lt. Thunderhawk and Capt. Brik and they are interested, but did not say how many....

The patch is wonderful Colonel!
I would love to have at least one for myself, but by the time I get an international money order over and convert for just one patch, the money order alone(as I don't use credit card or paypal) would end up costing more than the patch!
The only inexpensive way I could have a Callisto patch is to make it myself, as I am crafty and do embroidery.

Apparently, there are specific quantity breakdowns for specific numbers of patches ordered.
Here is the next breakdown:
35 patches @ $4.64 each.
Still not bad and definitely doable. I think this might be the way to go with the numbers...
