Dolet reached his viper, scrambled up the steps and settled into the cockpit. He fastened his helmet as the canopy came down, shutting out the noises around him as it sealed him in. He hit the buttons to fire up his engines, and they sprang to life one by one. He shifted slightly in the seat to get more comfortable, and then a voice came over his com.
"Bridge to all fighters, stand by for combat launches, but do not launch yet. You are all to stand by for further orders."
"Frack" Dolet said aloud. He idled the engines and had nothing to do but sit. His mind drifted to Janey, and how they stared at each other in the hall just a few microns ago.
"Dolet" said a voice in his com.
Dolet took a moment to realize the voice wasn't just in his mind. "Janey?" he asked through the com.
"Yeah, it's me" Janey replied.
"On my private com? We're getting ready to launch!"
"We're on stand-by" Janey corrected him. "And you know why we ain't launching."
"Janey" Dolet sighed, "I'm not having this conversation now. After, okay?"
"Okay, but you know why we ain't launching. Admit that at least."
Dolet sighed again. "Yeah" he said quietly, "I do know. The fleet isn't here, right?"
"And here's something else to chew on" Janey continued. "I just ran into Bulk-up. He's alive, Dolet."
"You serious? Frack me, Janey, don't joke around."
"I ain't joking" Janey insisted. "Hit his com. He'll answer you."
Dolet sighed again, thinking a moment. Then he switched frequency. "Bulk-up, got your ears on?"
"YO!" came the reply, and Dolet's blood ran cold. It was Bulk-up, but it couldn't be. Dolet knew for a fact that Bulk-up's viper was shot down by interceptors over the...
"I said 'YO'!" Bulk-up said with irritation. "Hey, this isn't Dolet, is it? Listen you little runt, you keep clear of Janey or I'll---"
Dolet shut down the com, and sat there, heart pounding more than any launch could ever do. "What the frack...." he muttered to himself.

Skyler entered the Bridge and approached Sheba. He had been about to climb into his Viper when he was summoned here.
“Major Skyler reporting as ordered Ma’am.” He said as he came to a stop beside her at the planning board.
“Skyler, we have a problem...” Sheba started before Skyler cut her off….
“I know the Fleet isn’t here…. They are….” Skyler stopped his eyes fixed on a point in the star chart… He wanted to point and say they were there, like it was that simple, but it wasn’t that….. then his eyes drifted to another sector. Sheba noticed it too….
“I know I get the same feeling too…” Sheba whispered looking at the second location “What are you feeling on the first sector you looked at?”
“I am not sure….. We need to find the Fleet before the Cylons do, they only have a handful of Vipers and one warship, and it’s not that big a warship.”
“Lt. Col. Turner can hold his own if trouble finds them until we get there…” Sheba trailed off looking at the star map… “If that is where they are…”
All of a sudden Skyler felt like he had been punched in the gut at just the mention of the name Turner…. Images invaded his head of Brie with a strange man, that he knew as Turner, but also of a stranger that had died yarhens ago who he had seen on holo-images in Brie’s quarters. He put out a hand and steadied himself against the nearby table. Those damn Beings of Light; they had done this to him. Why the frack didn’t they just come out and tell them what they needed to know. All their cryptic riddles had caused Apollo to return to the past, they had lost some good Warriors and now the entire Fleet…. Other images flashed through his head of ….. It couldn’t be….

Edan was still sitting in his Viper, helmet now off and the canopy raised. There was alot of confussion in the bay. If it was anything like what Edan was feeling, it was a mix of conflicting memories. things that seemed to have happened at the same time, yet couldn't possibly have happened.
things like Edan having just started his second yahren of being a Warrior right before the mission to the past. But yet, he distinctly remembered just arriving aboard the Callisto fresh from training just before the Mission. Both memories were strong, neither having the feel of a dream.
A dream, much like the feeling he knew where to find the fleet. The Fleet, and The Cylons. that was it, he couldn't not say anything any longer. To Hades with what others might think now. Putting the helmet back on, Edan set his internal comm system to secure comm with Major Skyler. Edan looked down the flight liune and noticed that the Major wasn't in his Viper.
"what the Frack?" Edan said aloud and readjusted the comm yet again. "Captain Logan, this is Edan. I need to speak to you now. I just can't shake this feeling....."
He was going to tell her his feelings that the Fleet was in serious trouble, and only the Battlestars could help them, IF they jumped right away.

Janey's viper was shut down, there being no need for it to sit there burning fuel. Down the line either way she could see canopies raised and vipers being powered down. Immediately next to her, Bulk-up raised himself out of his seat and sat up on the side of his ship.
Janey nodded to him, still uncomfortable at the sight of a fellow warrior she'd thought was dead. It was good to see him, it was just that this whole thing had her so confused. She remembered him launching with her and later dying, and she also remembered them not launching at all as the mission to pursue the missing Dolet was scrubbed, a memory only now slowly coming to her after Bulk-up mentioned it.
How could there be two sets of memories?
"Hey" Bulk-up yelled. "Where you going?"
Janey had slid off her viper and was heading down the stairs. "You sit tight, there's someone I gotta talk to!"
"It ain't that punk Dolet is it?" Bulk-up called after her. "Is it?"
She ignored him. Give it a rest, Bulk-up, she thought, smiling at how easy the thought came to her. She could never talk to him long without thinking or saying that very thing, and she'd thought those days were over. It made her eyes water to think that they were back.
She turned to head down the row of vipers toward Black Squadron and Dolet, when somebody grabbed her arm. "Just where do you think you are going, Ho-Down?"
Janey spun quickly, eyes wide in surprise. "L-Tude?" she said in shock. "Ally!" She gave her best friend in Bronze squadron a huge hug. Ally could do nothing but take it, arms pinned at her sides by the unexpected show of emotion. "Ally!" Janey said again, "You're okay!"
"Well, yeah" Ally replied, "Uh, we didn't launch, of course I'm okay. We all are...."
Again dual memories flooded Janey's mind. The freshest were of Ally, nicknamed L-Tude for her lack of height and big attitude, paralyzed from a cylon toxin and lying helpless in a medlab aboard a converted starliner. Yet here she stood, full of life and...
"You can let go any time now" Ally suggested....

"Yeah, sorry" Janey said, letting Ally go and taking a step back. She turned again, trying to spot Dolet, when she suddenly found herself being dragged by the hand by Ally. "Where are we goin'?" she asked as Ally pulled her around a corner and out of sight.
Ally pushed Janey up against the wall and kissed her deeply. She stopped after a moment, breathless as she backed up half a step. "Just wanted to give you a real greeting" she said with a smile. She glanced around, sure that no one had seen.
"Ally, what the fr--" Janey began, and then the memories, the other set of memories, came to her. The night they'd gotten away with a bottle of ambrosia, commiserating over, among other things, failed relationships. As the bottle got emptier their secrets grew more revealing...
"I know" Ally agreed, "we're on duty. But we're on stand-by, and nobody saw." She moved closer again.
Janey put a hand on Ally's chest to stop her. She was trying to think but things were happening so fast. Everywhere she turned things looked the same but were different too. She looked at Ally. It wasn't that she wasn't attracted to her, it just was that she never thought those feelings would ever be so strong to come to the surface....
"What?" Ally asked.
Janey stepped around her. "There's somebody I've got to talk to" she said as she backed away. She stumbled as her leg caught some power cables stretched across the floor. She caught herself, and reached the corner. "I'll see you later?" And she was gone.
Ally looked confused as she watched Janey go. She brought up a hand, wiggling her fingers in a wave. "Bye...." she said, her voice soft and fading.

"what the Frack?" Edan said aloud and readjusted the comm yet again. "Captain Logan, this is Edan. I need to speak to you now. I just can't shake this feeling...." Logan's personal comm crackled and she could only stand there as Kellie turned away from her and walked out of the barrack's door. There was something wrong with her stomach. It felt like a knot that would never unravel tightening in her gut and she had to remember to exhale.
"That the Fleet is in serious trouble, and only the Battlestars can help them, IF we jump right away?" She wondered if Edan could hear her heart beating over the comm. It was all she could hear.
A beat skipped. "Well...yeah. You remember too?"
"Indeed. Meet me in the Briefing Room. I have a feeling that Major Skyler will be there shortly to clue us in on what the frack is going on." She just hope he knew. Knew what was going on AND that Kellie was here.
Shaking herself to clear her head, Logan left the barracks and headed for Gold's briefing room. She saw other Warriors heading there, as if drawn by an invisible rope. A figure detached itself from a group and started her way, shuffling past others in the corridor, eyes intent on her.
She looked down at her booted feet and smiled to herself. Then looked up again at the man heading her way and let out a slow breath. "Beings of Light. You really know how to frack things up."

"Talking to yourself, Captain?" Not a good sign. I would've thought your little vacation would have helped relax you?"
She hadn't heard Lt. Baris approach, but suddenly he was standing beside her, a crooked smile on his face. She didn't turn to look at him, but continued to watch the other Warrior heading towards them. Hush had been in the thick of the fighting and she was anxious to talk to him about what he remembered.
Frowning, she had to grasp for a coherent thought. Baris had been on the Callisto during the mission. But his tone seemed to indicate that everything was right in his universe. She definitely knew that Edan was having the same bizarre thoughts and if the confused look on a few of the other pilot's faces was any indication, it wasn't just an isolated incident. She needed to find Plwel. She hadn't seen him since...getting back.
And the Warrior who had initially been moving to intercept Logan had finally reached her. Hush. He had something in his eyes that she didn't understand. Which wasn't all that unusual because few people seemed to understand the soft-spoken Warrior.
Before anyone could say anything else something registered with Logan and she glanced at Baris. "Wait. What vacation are you talking about?"
Baris raised his eyebrows, looked to Hush and back to Logan. "Why, Captain, the leave you just returned from."
He seemed confused by her obvious lack of comprehension. "Now don't tell me you've forgotten already." Crossing his arms and deciding he must be the butt of a joke that he couldn't figure out, Baris raised his chin and spoke to Hush. "Honestly, Lieutenant, I don't understand how you plan on being sealed with this woman. She's infuriating."

....."Honestly, Lieutenant, I don't understand how you plan on being sealed with this woman. She's infuriating."
Hush looked over at Baris with a weak smile. "Uh... yeah. Could you excuse us lieutenant?" he asked as he grabbed Logan by the arm and began ushering her away.
He could hear Baris laugh from over his shoulder. "Ha ha! Got it. Carry on lieutenant!"
Hush got Logan around a corner, and was happy to see they were alone, at least for the moment. He let go of her arm, began to pace, then turned toward her. A flood of fresh memories hit him as he looked into her eyes. He shifted his gaze, stared at her mouth for a moment, then felt better just looking away entirely.
"Uh...." he began. "Are you having any.... uh, weird thoughts? Not thoughts.... uh, memories?" He laughed. "Cause I am." He looked at her again. "You and me memories?" He put a hand to his forehead, then ran a it through his hair, and scratched the back of his head. "Cause I sure am" he repeated. "And they are freaking me out" He put up a hand. "Not that they are bad memories. They are good ones. Man, are they good."
"And my squadron" he went on. "They say that you and I are a... That we've been on vacation... And the killer of it is that I think I remember stuff, but we didn't do any of it, did we? Not that I wouldn't want to, it's not that at all. But are we? And worse yet, I didn't have any thoughts at all until the guys starting talking about it, and now it's all I can think about.... So is it just a fracked up power-of-suggestion thing or..."
He looked at her, confused more than ever. "Am I just crazy?" he asked.

Am I just crazy?" he asked.
She had remembered as soon as he grabbed her arm to lead her away. A flood of disjointed scenes playing through her mind. The prison barge mission, Comeek holding her at gunpoint on the shuttle. Fear in Hush's eyes. Back on the Callisto again, safe. Late night pyramid games. Grey eyes seeking hers in the dark.
She couldn't help being amused at his obvious discomfort, but she felt the flush creeping up the back of her neck as she remembered things that...hadn't happened. She had thought at first that Baris was having a joke at her expense with that sealed comment. That, or he'd hit his head on an overhanging med scanner.
Hush was looking at her for confirmation that he had lost his mind. She couldn't give it to him. "Hush, do you realize that that is the most you've ever said to me at once before?"
She saw realization in his eyes that he hadn't been aware of his obvious familiarity with her. His smile was unsure and it almost undid her.
'Lords of Kobol, what is going on?', she thought. 'How do I have two sets of memories? Two...'
"Frack, " escaped her lips. "Plwel."
