Hush leaned in and kissed Logan even as she said "Plwel". It was without thought and heavy with a passion that suddenly made his eyes widen in panic. He pulled away quickly, jerking his head back and stepping away.
"I'm sorry!" he said. Then after a moment added, "but I'm not sorry!" He put both hands up to his head this time. "I mean, to me that was perfectly natural! I didn't even think about it! But it's not right. Is it? Half of me expects you to have me up on charges. But the other half...."
He turned his back on her, took a few steps, then turned and walked back toward her. "You said it yourself. I've hardly said boo to you since we met. And now, it's like someone hit fast forward and we...." He slapped his thighs and put his hands up defensively. "Not that I assumed that you and I would someday..." He took an exasperated breath. "What the frack is happening?"
Then he looked at her in an odd way. "Plwel?" he asked.

Edan jumped out of his Viper and handed his Helmet to the Flight crew on the deck. "We haven't recieved official orders but I think we're standing down for now. Assign another Warrior to my Viper, just in case we do scramble. I'll launch with the second or thrid waves."
"Yes Ensign, no problem." was the only answer he got. the techs moving ahead and bringing up the next warrior on the scramble priority. It was a Black Squadron Warrior. As he Passed Edan, he gave him a very disapproving look. This confused Edan, but he just kept moving.
Edan moved up the access ladder next to Ensign Guenevere's Viper. "I don't know what's going on here, but I'm going to Gold Squadron's briefing room. Stay here, unless I call you up there. Someof us should maintain the Scramble."
"Ok, This time at least. I'll be Spaced if I'm going to let you always run off and leave me sitting here for you."
Edan winked and then moved back towards the lifts. As he stepped onto the lift, a Lt joined him. Not a Gold Warrior, another Black Squadron one.
"So, how's life in the big time? Now that you left us lowly Black Squadron Warriors?"
"Sir, what are you talking about? I was never with...." That's when it hit him. The memories. Much clearer thent he vague feelings of being a warrior for a Yahren. He had been a Warrior, but not with Gold Squadron. He'd been originally assigned to Black Squadron. And he'd been a Lt once. Till the fight. Brawl actually.
But this never happened. He'd been a Blackshirt before joining training. And he just finished Training a few Cycles ago. Hadn't he? "What are you taking about Lt?" Edan asked.
"What I'm talking about is the sectar I spent in a Med Furlon from you hitting me with that chair. I don't know how you got the Tribuneral to believe you, but I'll get you for that one. Trust me. And a few of the others want to join in that party Blackshirt!"
The lift reached the stop Edan needed, still confused beyond words, Edan stepped off. He remembered the Tribuneral, and the only punishmenty he'd recieved is the demotion and loss of pay. He'd been transferred immediately to Gold Squadron as well. the commander's only comment had been to find something other then a chair to break up a brawl. As a former Security officer, he should have known better.
"I need to figure all this out!"

“Plwel's eyes popped open and he found himself lying on his bunk in Gold Squadron's barracks...listening to the alert klaxon going off. "What the..." Plwel began to say when he was interrupted by a voice before he could finish his sentence........”
“Don’t you here that alarm Lieutenant?” another warrior said as he shook Plwel to get up. At that moment the klaxon stopped sounding and the warrior continued…”We have been instructed to assemble in the Gold Squadron briefing room. I guess someone will tell us what is going on. Now COME ON!!!! Get yourself together…you don’t want to be late!” Bouri sat up in his bunk and looked around. He surely was in Gold Squadron’s barracks aboard the Callisto. “Wait a micron...” Plwel said to himself...”I was just in battle wasn’t I? I was consumed by some sort of light when I heard voices speak to me….I think...” Bouri stood up and felt a little lightheaded. As he put his gun belt and jacket on, he continued to himself…”I couldn’t have been….because I am here….NO…I was flying in my Viper…Lt. Elorian was my wing…..” Plwel had to find Logan. He knew if he could see her and hold her in his arms to know at least she was ok, perhaps the confusion he felt at the moment would melt away and all his questions would be answered.
As Plwel left the barracks towards the briefing room he thought to himself as he walked down the hallway of his beloved Anya Logan and how he couldn’t wait to see her again and look into her eyes, and without any hesitation tell her how much he loved her. Plwel even found himself starting to walk faster with excitement and anticipation. As he walked around the corridor corner towards the briefing room, Plwel was stopped dead in his tracks. Bouri saw his love Logan back in a semi secluded corner as a male warrior he did not recognize leaned in and kissed her……heavy with passion. Plwel could not believe what he was seeing. In a split micron, his world was empty and cold. Lt Plwel's face dropped and he stood there in shock as he couldn't understand, after all they had been through how she could do this to him. Plwel quickly shot back around the corner of the corridor before he was seen by either of them. He stood there for only a centon or two…but it seemed like an eternity to Bouri…..his sadness that had overtaken him started to turn to anger as he strained to listen to what was being said. Plwel could not make out many words which frustrated him even more until he heard the male warrior say in a question...”Plwel?”
At that instant, Lt. Plwel’s face became serious as he was ready to face the man who was trying to destroy his life…the only world he knew and had to hold onto at that moment in time. Hearing his name, Plwel came back around the corner and leaned up against the wall with a disgusted look on his face as if he had been watching them the entire time and replied with a very stern voice... “Yes...I’m Lt. Plwel. Can I help you with something?”

Too much was happening, too fast and Logan was losing her grip on the situation.
Then Hush kissed her. And she knew him and they'd been here before. Somehow.
He was agitated and she didn't blame him. She was feeling the same. Emotions that were connected to Hush were flooding her consciousness and she wanted to laugh and scream at once.
He took an exasperated breath. "What the frack is happening?"
Then he looked at her in an odd way. "Plwel?" he asked.
She reached out to touch his arm, like she'd done a million times, without even thinking about it. She saw the awareness of the motion in his eyes. She opened her mouth to try to explain...What? What am I going to explain? Yes, evidently we've been involved for long enough to be planning on getting sealed, but there's this guy who I started a relationship with while we were in the past but now everything is fracked and I don't know what happened and evidently we all have two pasts that don't synch up. And I swear by the Lords, if I thought they could pull it off I'd believe that this is all some practical joke that Brik and Skyler have pulled on me!
She heard a familiar voice behind her and felt the deck shift beneath her feet.
“Yes...I’m Lt. Plwel. Can I help you with something?”
She and Hush both looked at the same time to see Plwel leaning against the corridor wall. He wasn't happy. Before she could say anything, she saw realization creep into his face, He's remembering.
She took a step towards him and stopped. Looked back at Hush. Then she planted her feet firmly and put on her Captain's voice. Holding up her hands to forestall them both she said, "Lieutenants. We all need to report to the Ready Room immediately. Edan's on the way and we need to get to the Fleet. If you've remembered the same things I have you know the Fleet isn't here, where it's supposed to be. And they could be in trouble." She waved her hands in a vague fashion. "We'll figure...all THIS out later. Don't just stand there. Let's MOVE."
Without another word or look to either of them she marched down the corridor with as much dignity as she could muster.

"We'll figure...all THIS out later. Don't just stand there. Let's MOVE."
Plwel starred at Lt. Hush for a moment with intensity then pulled himself from the corridor wall answering Logan simply with a "Yes Captain" with a monotone and emotionless tone as he followed her down the corridor and into the briefing room. Plwel didn't take his eyes off of Hush until after he passed him, but didn't look back to see his reaction either after he had passed.
Plwel entered the briefing room silently and secluded himself in one of the back row seats in the corner of the room awaiting some kind of explaination of what was going on....his eyes fixed on Logan, Plwel hoped that she would give him a glance...just a glace to say she was sorry, but she never looked at him once. Plwel wanted to hang his head in sorrow, but it was time to return to duty and pay attention to what was going on.......

Hush watched as Logan passed by him, followed by Plwel. He scratched his head and followed behind them. As he stared at Plwel he waited for the rush of memories that so far had followed anything that didn't make sense to him, but nothing came.
When they turned and entered the Gold ready room, Hush stopped at the door. He watched Logan find a seat, never once looking his way. Then again, she didn't look Plwels way either. Confused as ever, he turned away and continued down the corridor to the Bronze briefing room. Whatever was being done about reaching the fleet, he'd find out what Bronze's role in it all would be in there.
He'd just sat down when Janey flopped down into the seat next to him. She let out a long sigh.
"You look how I feel" Hush observed.
Janey laughed. "You don't know the half of it" she replied.
"Some weird fracking felgercarb is going on around here" Hush continued.
Janey stared straight ahead. "Amen to that" she agreed. Then it dawned on her exactly what he had said. She sat up and looked at him. "What do you mean by weird?" she asked.
Hush was about to speak when his jaw sagged open in surprise as a female warrior entered the room. "Ally!" he whispered in shock, staring in disbelief.
Janey looked toward the door. "Ally?" she whined as she slouched down in her seat again. She watched out of the corner of her eye as Ally spotted her and came over.
"Ally" Hush said, still staring. "You're okay?" The last he knew she was in a medlab, paralyzed by a cylon toxin that had no known cure...
Ally smiled. "Why am I getting asked that today?" she said as she sat down next to Janey, grabbed a free hand in hers and scooched closer, her head on Janey's shoulder.
Hush was about to say more when he glanced over at the door once more. "No way...." he whispered. Standing in the doorway was the warrior he thought had died. "Bulk-up!" he shouted as he got to his feet.
"And a crazy day gets crazier" Janey said softly.

Ally squeezed Janey's arm tighter. "I keep thinking about last night" she said.
"Yeah" Janey replied. "I remember" she added as the memories flooded in. And kept flooding. Janey felt the heat on her cheeks as her face turned red. She felt the heat in other places too. She sat up straight and tried to detach herself from Ally's grip. "My arm please?" she asked.
Ally let it go and sat up too. "What's the matter?"
"Trouble in paradise" came a voice from behind. Janey's head whipped around but she couldn't place where the voice came from in the sea of faces that stared back at her. She turned back around and slouched down again. Ally looked back, then at Janey, then began to get comfortable again.
"Not here please" Janey said, trying to be nice but firm as she kept her arm free. She tried to stare straight ahead, but somebody was in her line of sight. Bulk-up. Uh-oh she thought. Why is he just finding out now? She raised her gaze to meet his.
"And here I thought it was that punk Dolet" Bulk-up observed. "Was I ever wrong. Here I go on a solium leak run, then straight to the launch bay, and I guess I missed the big news. Congratulations m'am." He turned to Ally. "You too, m'am".
"Bulk-up" Janey began, wishing it would all go away. "Give it a rest?" she pleaded. She could see that Bulk-up's hot headed nature hadn't changed any while so much else had.
"Yeah" Ally chimed in. "You daggit's behind."
Just then Hush came over, a look of surprise on his face. He didn't say anything, but his expression spoke volumes as he looked at Janey and Ally. Great, Janey thought. He knows too, before I got the chance to talk to him...
"You have something to say, Hush?" Ally challenged him, starting to rise out of her chair. Janey put out her arm to keep her in it, then nearly rolled her eyes as Ally almost by instinct held onto it with both hands.
"Wait your turn, Hush. I haven't even started on this one yet" Bulk-up said. "You know how I feel about you Ally, and you just jump right over me and go after Janey?" He laughed. "And I thought that thing you had with Brik was bad enough!"
"Cool down big fella" Hush said as he put a hand on Bulk-up's shoulder. The whole squadron knew about Bulk-up's feelings for Ally. It had come up often enough. And the air grew heavy with the promise of another Bronze squadron 'dispute', with Bulk-up always in the middle of it when it came to Ally.
Janey found herself getting agitated in spite of herself. The flood of memories was so strong. This ain't my fight, she thought, trying to keep her temper. This ain't my fight! Still, she resented the hot tempered Bulk-up choosing the briefing room to have it out with her and Ally. Then again, Bulk-up was always short on tact.
She began to rise out of her chair, freeing her arm from Ally once more, her happiness at finding Bulk-up alive again slowly evaporating....

Janey squared up in front of Bulk-up as best she could. He towered a good foot or so taller than her, but she made up for it with the anger building up inside her. So much of it was fueled by fresh emotions that threatened to overwhelm her, but if nothing set her off any further, she might be able to keep from giving in to them.
"Just so we're clear" Janey began as she stared up into his face, "this has nothing to do with us being both women? Cause I'd hate to find out you were narrow-minded."
Bulk-up seemed thrown off by this. "No" he said in surprise, his tone softening ever so slightly. "It's nothing like that!"
"No-minded is more like it" someone cracked to a round of laughter.
"Cause when you and I were together for a brief time" Janey continued, "you weren't mindin' my gender a bit."
"Sure put the 'ho' in Ho-down" someone observed to more laughing.
Janey spun in the direction of the voice. "That handle is on account of my southern Virgonian roots if you all need reminding." Several warriors nodded but nobody said anything.
"Now I think you all should direct eyes forward" Janey concluded. "There's a briefing about to begin?"
She held her ground, daring Bulk-up to try her patience, but he seemed thrown by what she'd said. He broke the staring contest, turned around and sat down heavily. He remained silent but slapped his leg angrily, enough to make Hush jump as he sat down next to him.
Janey glanced around, but everybody was finding a seat, nobody looking her way. She let out a long breath, and flopped back into her chair. Next to her, Ally stared at her in admiration.
"Tonight I'm going to so do you" Ally said softly. Janey just lowered her head, her shoulders sagging slightly.

Edan had been moving past bronze squadron's briefing room during Janey's speach. and heard the outbursts from the crowd. His first instinct was to dress down the people taking advantage of the situation. But then again, not knowing the situation, he resisted a bit. As he stood there, a few of the younger pilots in the briefing room began talking quietly among themselves, looking directly at Edan. Seeing Janey's shoulders sag a bit as the female warrior next to her said something, Edan caught her eye and nodded. A simple show of support. hoping that it would make a difference. Then again, without knowing what was up, he had no idea how to help. That being all he could do right now, it was time to head to Gold Squadron's Briefing room. All he heard from the back of the briefing room as he left was "Someone hide the free chairs. They might start flying." followed from a little further away, "once a Blackshirt always a blackshirt"
With that behind hiom for now, Edan just grabbed the first chair he could in Gold's Briefing room and sat down for the briefing. Somehow he had to find an official record of that insident, and see what had really happened.
Sitting alone, Edan couldn't wait for Logan or Skyler to start this. Just so he could leave. Plwel, Logan, Janey and the rest of the Warriors he'd recently worked with seemed to be in no condition to help him, probably all dealing with the same conflicting memories. Edan just wondered how bad it was for them.

The video monitors at the front section of each Ready Room on the Callisto flickered to life. The assembled Warriors all became quiet as Commander Sheba, with Major Skyler by her side began the briefing.
"My fellow Warriors, I'll be brief. Both battlestars are preparing to jump to rejoin the Fleet. For those of you who haven't realized, the Fleet under the protection of Major Brie is no longer at our current position. We have no idea why the Major felt it necessary to move the entire Fleet, but we will be under Alert status on the chance that Cylon activity was involved."
Sheba exchanged a solemn look with Major Skyler, who nodded. She returned her attention to the monitor in front of her and announced the jump coordinates. A large portion of her audience recited them along with her in their minds. Some of them perplexed by their prior knowledge. Others becoming all too familiar with recalling memories with no basis in their current frame of reality.
Sheba continued, "For those of you who previously knew these coordinates, we suspect that the Beings of Light are responsible for our current situation. I'm sure many of you have come to that same realization. Along with this knowledge and because of our mission through the time rift, it seems that those of us the Beings chose for unknown reasons now have two sets of memories. These memories are those from our pasts before the mission occurred and an alternate set that the time rift and our contact with the Beings of Light have left us. For a few these memories seem to be the same. For the majority of us, they are vastly different."
Her eyes seemed clouded and more than one Warrior wondered which group Sheba belonged to.
"As a consequence of our mission, certain aspects of our reality have been changed. People and their relationships are different. Friends we thought lost have been returned to us. I choose to believe that the Beings of Light offered us a gift, a way to make up for all the suffering the people of the Colonies have endured. Our mission, while not changing the fate of the Colonies, has served as a reminder of who we are and what we've lost. While dealing with these dual memories, let's try to keep that in perspective."
Sheba sighed and leaned forward. "Prepare for jump and be alert. We don't know what we'll find once we rejoin the Fleet. Sheba out."
The screen went dark.
