Don't own a blu ray player as of yet.
Going to be buying one maybe soon.
Blu ray DVD's are finally going down in price.

Got the DVD the day after its release. It looks great! No worries on the transfer, technicalities, etc.
Also got some great news: Universal Home Entertainment has announced that due to the brisk sales of the DVD, they are now going to be releasing the disc in a general release on August 6th!
The blu-ray was only available at Best Buy, but starting in August, it will be available everywhere. This could also bode well for a new Blu-Ray release of the entire series, but we will have to wait and see how it all goes...
If you can, vote with your dollars!!! We might not see anymore BSG if not...

Spectre had good things to say about the blue ray version once he picked it up. Be tempted to check it out as well since I recently got a blu ray player.

If you search on Amazon for Battlestar Galactica, eventually you will find a complete series on Blu-Ray but it's the German version...
