Has anyone ever played the late 1970s/early 80s version of the BSG Pyramid card game? The rules as portrayed in the series didn't appear very clear. I'm currently writing a BSG story that includes the game, so I've written an upcoming chapter based on the Earth version as I understand it rather than the BSG version that I clearly don't! Information on the Earth game can be found here: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/21977/pyramid-battlestar-galacticaWith the game largely written, I'm still not sure I have it quite right, so if anyone knows the game and wouldn't mind confirming a few things for me, please let me know. Thanks! Lucian

That's the one I remember! I have the cards and it is fun but whether or not the Earth version is the same as the one on the show, anyone's guess. My thought is that there are no real rules as it was just made up for the scenes when Starbuck plays!

Thanks, Colonel. I ended up going with the Earth rules as I understand them (and no one's told me out on it yet!). If you want to check out the card game, it's the last section of Chapter 5: Friendly Finagling, which can be found at www.fanfiction.net/s/11501557/6/BG04-Shore-Leave
