I thought I'd start a new thread to answer Amy's question so that her incredible story doesn't get slowed down by replies. So if you want to answer her, post it here, and then we'll either move this to a different board or remove it in a couple of days.
Amy, sorry, my friend, you can't shut me up that easily! (And you know what I think? I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10...couldn't resist.)
It's a fantastic story, well thought out and well written, and no, it's not too dark and not non-BSG. Although I'm sure that people have been reading it, if they haven't it's their loss and they should be reading that now instead of reading this!

Amy,
It's been very well written and fits in well with the character's storylines. It's been read 120 times (as of a moment ago), and with 12 replies, that means that it's got a following. Don't even think about deleting it (if that's what you're thinking!).

Oops!! I posted over there first and now I saw this thread! This is soap opera in space and that was what Battlestar was. Heck, they even had a socialator onboard the original! Deep character development is part of what we get to do on an RPG like this, something they could only gloss over on the TV show. So, keep at it!!! It is VERY interesting and entertaining...

All I will say that I found it quite interesting. I never thought of doing such detailed background.
