ther are those that believe that life here begain out there, far out in the universe with tribes of humans. that may have been the forefathers of the egypitians or the myhens or the toltecs .that they may have been the architects of the great pyamids, or the lost civilizations of LEMERIA OR ALANTIS. some believe that brothers of man even now fight to survive somewhere beyond the heavens -----------closing fleeing the cylon tyranny the last battlestar galactica leads a ragtag fugitive fleet on a lonely quest . a shinning planet known as earth. long live battlestar in akll its forms.

Man, I tell you, the open and closing narration are the coolest things in the history of sci-fi! I still get chills when I hear Lorne Greene's closing monologue!!

That is something else I can't believe they changed in the new series.. they put a little typed statement up at the beginning of every episode.. about humans having built the cylons...etc, etc and they came back to destroy the humans.. I totally agree about the opening and closing monologue... it really made it seem that they were looking for us and they were fighting their way to Earth... Especially to an 8 year old kid like me.. I thought that was a neat thougth .. to imagine Apollo and Starbuck "my heros" on the way to my planet...hehehehe I know I am a little crazy...
