All the nagging doubts and questions seemed to drift out of range in Hush's mind as Logan kissed him. It was what he wanted for so long. The mix of memories flooding in while at the same time the feeling that this was the first time were overwhelming to him and he gave in to it all.
He backed Logan up so as to reach the light switch. With the lights out he backed her up toward the bed, knowing the layout of the room in his mind though he'd never himself been here before. It was this little thought, this tiny little thing that occurred to him, that broke through and snapped his mood even as they were both landing on the bed.
He pulled back, only for a moment. Stop thinking, idiot, he thought to himself. He kissed her again, but found that the mood was broken.
He sat up in the darkness. Got up and hit the lights, again knowing exactly where the switch was even though he couldn't see a thing until he flipped it.
What is it? he wondered. The memories. They aren't enough, that's what. Even with all the memories this felt too fast to him. Too soon. And he respected Logan too much to take advantage of her.
He looked at Logan and saw the confused look on her face. "This is going to sound so strange" he said. "But, uh, what hasn't been lately, right?" He laughed for a second, smoothing back his messed up hair. "Do you feel like we should have drinks first or something?"

On the flight deck, Ally and C group all felt the great Callisto make the jump. They all glanced around the bay as the feeling passed.
"Okay!" Captain Copewell yelled out. "Don't just stand there, C group! Grab your gear and get to your vipers! Move!"
Ally grabbed her pack off the deck, but being new to C group, she didn't know which way everyone was headed and collided with Lt. Grease. She staggered a moment, then fell in line behind him as he ran to his left toward a group of vipers.
"Come on Lt. Ally!" Copewell hollered. "You make me wonder what the 'A' in group A stands for!" He trotted after them. "We're on standby" he reminded them. "If there's trouble out there, be ready to launch!"
* * * In the de-com shuttle, Bulk-up found Janey at the controls, preparing the shuttle for flight. "Look" he said as he sat down in the co-pilot seat, "I'm sorry."
She looked over at him. "No you're not. You're only sorry that you didn't get what you wanted from that outburst of yours."
Bulk-up slammed his hand down on a panel. Janey flinched at the noise. "I am sick and tired of you telling me what's in my head" he said loudly. "So you listen up. I didn't mean to get you in trouble. I even got in trouble, so what does that tell you?"
"That you're an idiot?" Janey offered as she flipped some switches and the engines started to come to life.
"No!" Bulk-up steamed. "It's no joke. You know how I feel about Ally. I love that girl. After that thing with that Brik guy, I thought I'd have my chance to prove that to her. I had things lined up. Flowers...."
"Flowers?" Janey blurted, looking at him. "I'm sorry. You got flowers?"
Bulk-up half smiled. "It wasn't easy getting them from the agroship on the sly. But yeah, flowers. Why? Am I not capable of flowers?"
Janey hit more switches, and the engines grew louder. She could hear the rest of the solium leak crew shuffling on board. "Bulk-up, I don't even know what to say to that. You never got me flowers when we were together."
"I never needed to" Bulk-up said matter-of-factly.
Janey shot him a glance. "And you actually believe that saying things like that is going to make things between us right again?" she asked, shaking her head.
She spun in her chair to face the crew. "We launch when we are cleared to" she announced. "If there isn't trouble, we'll head out to start the survey."

Logan lifted herself to her elbows and watched Hush standing there, running his hands through his hair. She could see he was torn and she understood it. She was having the same feeling.
"Do you feel like we should have drinks first or something?"
She couldn't stop the nervous laugh. Shifting position to pull her half-discarded jacket from under her, she sat up, resting her arms on her knees. She attempted to pull her hair back from her face and gave it up as a lost cause. He's right. I want this, but he's right.
He was just looking at her and she could see his flustered face going through several emotions at once as he watched her for a response. Sighing, she pushed herself up off the bed and stood in front of him. She took his hands in her own and rubbed her fingers across his knuckles. Such a familiar gesture that she was taken aback by it. And with it came the memory of other familiar gestures that made the heat rise in her face. Careful. Careful, Logan, or he's going to run out of here. Run or toss all rationality aside and throw you down on that bed and...Pull yourself together. Frack, you're a Colonial Warrior.
She met his eyes finally and hoped she had masked her train of thought. "Hush. We both have the memories of our...physical relationship wired into us. But there's a part that is starting over and experiencing everything for the first time. It's all so..."
He pulled a loose strand of hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear. "Overwhelming?"
She smiled and laughed again. "That's a good word for it. Yeah." She thought a micron. Then she leaned in to kiss him gently on the lips. "I want to explore these memories. They feel like second nature to me. But I think we need to go slowly. There's the past we remember and the past that now seems to evidently be standard for the Fleet. I feel like we're somewhere in between and need to catch up. But I don't want you to feel like I'm forcing you to do anything either. I'm willing...Lords, more than willing, to give us a chance." She took a deep breath. Just dive in. You're already lost in him whatever he says. Lords, I want to kiss him again. "Hush, are you willing?"

The medical team was rushing Lt Plwel’s life tube to the medical bay after leaving decontamination as they heard the sounds of the Galactica starting to make the jump to join the fleet. As Lt Plwel lay unconscious in the med tube, all he thought about was his family and Logan. He could see them all plain as day and in this perfect world he and Logan were still together and happy…with his parents by their side. Plwel saw glimpse of the future as he saw himself eventually sealed to Logan by Commander Sheba and children playing around their feet in their quarters aboard the Callisto. It was comforting to Plwel and put him at ease somehow to see these images in a time where it was hard to decipher what was real from what was unreal.
Upon arrival to the medical bay, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Cassie was standing by with another team ready to receive the unconscious warrior. As the techs removed the rest of the warriors uniform and equipment, Cassie worked fast to revive Plwel as he had no pulse and she was uncertain how long he had been without oxygen in his Viper before he landed. They started Bouri on an extreme ventilation protocol as they continued to do CPR. Being unresponsive, Cassie ordered the laser shock machine to be brought over and connected to the life tube to administer electro shocks to the heart to start it again. Once clear, Cassie initiated a shock of minimal voltons to the warrior to revive him…”Let’s start on volton level one….initiate….now!” The med tech pressed a button on the machine which sent the shock through Plwel’s tube and body causing him to arch his back for a moment.
Plwel was still consumed by his perfect world with his wife and children when he started to see what appeared to be Logan and all his family start to drift away from him. He reached out to them calling them by name but there was no response. He yelled louder and louder as he saw their forms disappear in to a black void and a bright light filled his vision. Bouri saw a face….a white face for just a brief micron covered by some sort of sparkling sheer veil and dark eyes which seemed to be smiling at him. Suddenly, the face went away has Plwel opened his eyes returning to the real world. He began coughing violently as he gasped for air. Plwel immediately cried out once his breathing calmed down…”What’s going on here!!!! Where am I!!!!” “Welcome back Lieutenant Plwel.” Cassie said to him in a calm and inviting voice. “You gave us a scare there for a micron.” Plwel looked around outside his tube to find a familiar face but didn’t see anyone he knew.....No Logan and nobody from Gold Squadron or even the Callisto. As the doctor was talking with the attending techs, Plwel interrupted again asking, weak from his ordeal...”Where am I???” “You are aboard the Galactica Lieutenant.” As she attended to Plwel’s minor cuts and abrasions she continued to explain…”You crash landed in the landing bay after a malfunction occurred aboard your Viper. From what I have heard about the explosion on your fighter and the landing, you are either one outstanding pilot, or just plain lucky to be alive. Now why don’t you lay back down and try to get some rest….you have been through allot. Once you are consistently stable, we will move you to a normal recovery bed.”
Bouri laid his head back down in the tube and thought to himself…”Explosion??? How could there be an explosion?? The deck mechanic said my Viper checked out and everything was ready to go.” Plwel overheard Cassie, who thought she was out of ear range, say to one of the med techs…”Has anyone from the Callisto responded to the notification the bridge sent? Our bridge reported a message was sent to the Callisto core and Gold Squadron commands before we initiated the hyperspace jump. We still have not heard from anyone yet? Please have the bridge retransmit the message to all recipients and have them contact me so i can update them on the lieutenant's status.” Hearing this, Plwel continued to think to himself….”It wasn’t like Capt Logan or Major Skyler to not respond to an emergency message like this unless they…………unless SHE was occupied by something more important.” Plwel closed his eyes as the memory of the Callisto corridor immediately came back into his head where he saw Logan and Hush together……

"Lords yeah" Hush blurted out. His mind had drifted slightly, thinking of something in particular that Logan had done, but only in his memories. He cleared his throat. "I mean, 99% of me had no problem just going with it, but I have to live with 100% of me, you know? Something about it all suddenly didn't seem right to me." His face flushed and he could feel the heat rising all over as he forced himself to stop thinking about.... things.
He sat her back down on the edge of the bed and crouched down in front of her.
"It's not that you and I don't feel right to me" he continued. "Nothing has felt more right to me. But yesterday you were someone I admired and dreamed about and wished I knew more, and today, well, it's like somebody tossed me the keys to the kingdom or something."
He was close enough to kiss her, but instead smoothed some of her messed up hair. "I know so much about you, but I want to hear it from you, not just have it already in my head, you know?" He began to rise, kissing her on top of the head before standing. He suddenly realized where that put her face and he couldn't move away fast enough. From halfway across the room he said, "It's funny, but a half micron ago I couldn't think of anything other than picking up where I remember us leaving off. Now, I just want to ask you out like it's a first date or something."
"How do we make this work?" he wondered. "What do we tell people? To them, we're as good as sealed already!"

"How do we make this work?" Hush wondered. "What do we tell people? To them, we're as good as sealed already!"
Logan couldn't help but smile at Hush. "We don't tell them anything." She stood up and adjusted her shirt, trying for some form of decorum when her mind was all over the place. The little things they kept doing, the touches, spoke of a long term relationship, not something that just landed in their laps this morning. "Look, as far as most of the people on this ship are concerned, they'll see us together and not know anything is different. The ones that matter, our friends, we tell them the truth." She shrugged. "I mean, it isn't like they aren't dealing with this memory mush themselves. They'll get it."
Well, almost all of them will. She had a knot of regret about Plwel and realized she was going to have to talk to him...try to explain...What am I going to explain? Oh, sorry, I know we were starting to get hotter than turbos, but I already had a relationship in this alternate timeline that I didn't know about yet. My bad.
Frowning, she saw Hush watching her intently. "Hush, I'm going to have to try to explain this to Lt. Plwel. I...I was starting to have feelings for him. That makes me feel weird to admit, but I'm going to be honest with you. About everything." She came closer to him and rubbed his shoulder. "This isn't going to be easy, but with what I know...what we know now, I can't think of anything I'd rather do than be with you."
Her comm unit beeped and she glanced over to the desk where she'd left it. She looked at Hush and he nodded. Picking it up, she saw she had two messages, both from Skyler. She scrolled through both of them quickly.
She met Hush's gaze and he could tell she was alarmed immediately. He moved closer to her as she said, "The jump's complete. The Fleet is all accounted for except the Intimidator. Looks like Brie took it off to lead a Cylon baseship away from the Fleet. There's a commerce planet close by. We'll be leading teams over on recon soon."
He put his arm around her as she read the next message. "What else?"
"An incident with a Viper pre-jump. Injured pilot needs transport back from the Galactica. Edan and I have been tagged for it."
"Who's the pilot?" Hush asked.
"Doesn't say, but I thought Edan had the last patrol pre-jump. Weird." Sighing heavily, she turned into his arms and kissed him. Pulling away slightly, she leaned her head against his cheek and said, "Can we go on that first date on a commerce planet? Might be interesting."

"Yeah, that sounds great" Hush agreed. But then he remembered something that began to sour his mood: "But we're in different squadrons. I don't know where I'll be assigned."
He went back to the bed and sat down heavily, bouncing slightly on its corner. He touched the top sheet, letting memories flood in. He looked at Logan, the feeling coming over him that he'd let something slip away that he'd never be close to again.
"Okay" he said with a sigh. "Guess we leave with exactly what we came with. And I'd better check in before Dorlan puts out a search for me." But he couldn't sum it all up that easily. Something was weighing on his mind, and he had to tell her while he had the chance.
He stood back up. "Logan" he began, "whatever all... this... has done to us, I don't want to screw up. And I don't want to hurt you. I'd never want that. So don't forget that, okay? I could have hidden my doubts and had a free shot, but I didn't take it. You're a special lady and deserve better than that." He got to the point. "Where ever things lead with this Plwel guy, remember this moment. Can you do that for me?"

Ally was in her viper doing her pre-flight when Copewell's voice crackled over her comlink. "C Group: flight's been scrubbed, fleet is clear of the enemy. Come on down, back to barracks." After a pause he added, "Keep your gear close. There's a new mission forming. Be ready to answer the call."
Ally relaxed, leaning back in the viper seat. She stared down the launch tube a little longer than she meant to.
"Move!" came Copewell's voice through her link. She immediately popped her canopy and climbed out of the viper and down the stairs. Copewell was standing near the bottom step, hands behind his back as he watched her approach.
"Sir?" Ally asked. "Bronze had a solium leak crew on standby. Could you tell me its status?"
Copewell just looked at her, muttering into his headset. After a moment, he nodded. "Just launched" he informed her.
Ally sighed. "Thank you sir" she said, then trotted off to catch up with the rest of C Group. Careful out there, Janey, she thought.....

After the rush to secure Plwel's Viper, and get him to med station, Guinevere felt lost. Moreso then on the Callisto. No one seemed to be paying her any attention anymore. All the talk still being of the Warrior taken out of the wrecked Viper. The Bay Techs were moving the wreckage out of the landing pattern now. once out of the way, it would probably sit there while there was an investigation. Vipers don't just malfunction like that on their own. At least that's what she thought would happen, If this fleet was still following the same proceedures. No reason they shouldn't be.
Guinevere then thought to herself, "No reason I should wait for those investigators then." pulling a tech aside, she requisitioned a Computron and moved over to the Viper. Starting with a bsic assesment, She took measurements And images of the damage. "Seems that the origin of the damage is here. And this looks to me like something exploded here. And that makes no sense. The laser Generators are over there. And the Turbo exchangers are over there." Guinevere was taking notes on all this as she pointed it out. There should have been nothing on the frame of the viper that could have exploded this bad and damaged the Viper this badly. "Unless there was an explosive placed on the ship."

Dolet never looked Edan in the face, but at least this was a step up from the way everyone else in Black Squadron had treated him. As Edan looked at him, he could see a mental struggle going on. He just had no clue what was being fought.
All Edan knew was that for some reason, he felt he knew Dolet better then he should have. Edan had memories of raising a mug of grog with him, and the rest of Black Squadron. memories of shared patrols. but he also knew that wasn't the past he had left. The past as he knew it before going on that time traveling mission. Before seeing the colonies.
His Communicator beeped and he excused himself, moving over away from Dolet. He wanted to give the man room to come to terms with whatever battle he was fighting. Everyone in the fleet seemed to need to do that now.
"Ensign Edan here." he replied into the Device.
"Edan, report to the Shuttle bay and prep a Shuttle to head over to the Galactica. We have 2 Gold Squadron members over there, one injured. Be prepared to bring the Life tube back to the Callisto. Captain Logan will be joining you."
After Acknowledgine the order from the bridge, Edan made his way aft to the Shuttle bay. The Crews had already started preping one and had it towed out of line, ready to move to launch. Edan walked up to the crew chief, signed for the Shuttle and moved inside to the cockpit.
Inside there were techs making ready for the possible transport of a Life tube. The power hook ups and ventilation systems were installed and made for easy loading. Edan took the pilot's station, put on his headset and reported in to the bridge. The shuttle was about ready and all he really was waiting for was Logan. Maybe she had some answers as to who was hurt and who else needed to be shuttled back.
Out of curiousity, after all, no official word had been passed down, Edan activated Uni Com. And as the channel connected, Edan smiled. Once again, he could heard the Statis checks and routine comminication of the Civilian Fleet. they all seemed to be there and were exchanging their joy over seeing the Battlestars again. there were also questions as to how the warships had found them. But no answers as yet were given. Again, giving in to personal curiousity, Edan qued in on a specific Marker beacon, that of the Prison Barge. that was where his father should still be stationed. Nothign in either set of Memories seemed to indicate otherwise. And sure enough, the ship's beacon was broadcasting, just as it should.
That done, Edan switched back to primary channel and thought about who had been on patrol. And he finally zero'd in on one name. Guinevere. She must have launched with the patrol. He should have been her wingman, but he had been notified that he was relieved of the patrol duty. Someone else had volunteered.
"Bridge, this is Callisto Shuttle. Request Information on Warriors schedualed to be be shuttled back from Galactica, and Status."
