I think Snape and Ron get it in the end. Harry will live (barely) and get together with Hermoinie (sp?) I had thought that Serius would, but he bought it in OOTP... (No I don't read the books.)

I had to work today, picked up my copy on the way back from a wedding on Sat/Sun Ocrakroke Island at like 2am. Didn't even start reading until like 1230 Sunday when I got up and had to stop a few times here and there to do some running around. Made it to 385 Chapter twenty. I thought about calling in sick today and finishing it last night, but the responsible part of my brain forced me to bed. I hate being a grown up...

No spoliers, I promise.
I am re-reading it now. I cried all afternoon Monday as i finished it. At one point, I swore loudly, stood up and threw the book down on the chair proclaiming "I hate JK Rowling! Why did she do this to me?"
I have never read a book that had me on such an emotional rollercoaster. It was brutal and beautiful at once. If you're a real fan, you'll know what I mean when you're done.
If they make this one into a movie and follow the story even remotely, bring your tissues! I'm still bawling in the re-read.

It's funny, because I almost feel like I read a different book than Logan did. I thought that the beginning was good and the last 200 pages or so were fantastic, but the middle 450 were mostly fluff. I didn't find any emotional rollercoaster at all. Yes, there were parts that I found exciting and parts that were funny, but most of it I found very put-down-able. I was really frustrated at times because to me some things felt rushed, and at other times I thought that JK was doing things just because she could, things that didn't add to the story at all. I also thought that a lot of it was predictable, which left me a bit disappointed. I didn't cry once, and there wasn't that shocking moment (like when Cedric died in GoF) that I kept expecting.
But overall I did like the book, and as I said the last 200 pages were fantastic and made up for the rest of it. And remember, this is just my opinion. Everyone is welcome to their own opinions, and we can agree to disagree and still be friends.

Yep, we can disagee and still be friends. Everyone gets different things from books. I can even see where you're coming from about some of the middle stuff in the book.
But in my view, i loved it. I needed some of that exposition to flesh out some things. I found at least 2 shocking moments and even though I had guessed a few things, the way they came about weren't what I expected. I never felt like she rushed anything though.

We went and saw the 5th movie again a couple of days ago. It's funny how the perspective changes after having read the final book!
