Thank you for the great welcome. I'm glad that people are enjoying what I'm writting, because I'm having great fun writting it.
To my fellow Callisto Newbies, welcome as well. I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone, old and new alike. I've been going over some of the old Chapters, and it looks like we have a lot of people with the kind of great imagination it takes to make a RPG entertaining for everybody involved.

It's great the number of people who have been posting lately. I think this is a good time to mention a few things, not just to new and returning members, but everyone. To keep the RPG great, we need three things.
Commitment. This takes time and effort, and we all need to be committed to make that time. Trying to post at least twice a week I think is a reasonable goal. We also need to read ALL the RPG posts, not just the ones that we think concern our character. There have been times that it has been painfully obvious that someone hasn't read someone else's post. We also need to read the profiles, etc., to find out about those that we're playing with.
Communication. Use the PM feature that we have available! Talk with those that you're writing with, it makes for a better story for all those involved. Don't ever assume, ask instead. And who knows, you just might end up with a new friend. Some of my best friends in the whole world I've met through this game.
Continuity. This goes back to reading what others have written. Our story takes place a long time after the original series, so remember that we've been in space for 28 yahrens. I tend to act as "Continuity Police" sometimes, mainly because I've spent a whole lot of time writing on this board and our old one, and I hate it when something I've written gets changed because "nobody remembers so who cares". (Someone actually said that to me once...I care!) I'm a stickler for continuity, and I'll admit that I've had more than one person upset with me for pointing out their mistakes. So be familiar with the past material and don't change history. It all comes down to if you're not sure, ask. There are several of us who have been around the whole time we've been RPGing, and any of us would be happy to answer your questions.
The most important thing, of course, is to have fun with it! This game can become an obsession, you've been warned.
