OK, here is the link to the thread over at Colonial Fleets for my new Callisto fan film. I had to break it up into three parts for ease of downloading. Each part is less than 10 MB ... www.colonialfleets.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12149I hope you all enjoy it as I am doing these small films in honor of the Callisto and all my friends onboard our ship...

Just wanted to explain a little bit if you all are confused as to why my latest Battlestar Callisto mini-ep is over at Colonial Fleets instead of on our own Callisto website.
My original video file was 135 MB. With all the trouble we are having over the hosting of our own website, I decided to contact fellow Callisto member, Titon, over at CF about hosting my mini-ep. Not only that, but the last mini-ep caused some financial trouble with our internet service provider for the Callisto website. I thought I would take the safe route this time.
Titon then asked if there was any way to cut it since 135 megs was a bit large. I did not want to, but I decided to go ahead and render the mini-ep back into .wmv files which only made it 27 megs, however, I am not pleased with the resulting quality.
Once I did that, I was able to chop it into three segments like the last one I did and managed to get each segment down to less than 10 megs for ease of downloading.
So, that's why the mini-ep ended up over there instead of on our own website. Not only that, but Scott is still trying resolve some of the hosting issues with the Callisto site.
Hope that clears things up. Hopefully, the next mini-ep will be exclusively featured on our very own site!

I finally had the chance to download all three parts. Nice job, even better than the first one! The editing is seamless. I can just see it. The phone rings in the Charybdis household. The middle daughter picks it up, because the oldest is perfecting her camera work and the youngest is still too little. The person on the other end asks to speak to Mommy or Daddy and she says, "Sorry, Mommy and Daddy are too busy playing Battlestar Callisto right now." I guess that's one way to get rid of the telemarketers, but I would think that the Do Not Call List would be a little bit easier.
