Hey...I know the everyone on that picture!!!!!!! What a great time that was walking around the con together on Sat Col Charybdis....What were the chances of Dirk jumping in our group picture like that.....great times!!!!!

It was fun, but I do have to say, DragonCon has gotten to be a huge behemoth that taxes every fiber of your existence!!! ANd I was there only one day...I can't imagine going through that for all four days. Rick, you'll have to report on how the entire thing went...
This thing has gotten huge, walking around (if you can call it that) was a chore with all the people pancaked into the hotels. Heck, it was even shoulder to shoulder sometimes outside in the streets! Crazy...
It is something to experience if you have never gone, but I"m getting too old for this kind of thing...(hey, who said that???)

You guys suck and I'm ridiculously annoyed at you all! What she said.... DC is a huge beastie... I had heard that they had problems a few years ago due to the huge amounts of people crammed in places that wasn't designed to hold them. |

I thought I would show this pic of me at a recent event. It was a general scifi event at a museum and whilst I was there for the Star Wars element, I could not pass up a chance to finally wear the BSG stuff out in public! I think it had been more than 6 years or so since I had worn my warrior outfit to some kind of event. here I am with a Royal Guard...don't mind the weird face I'm making, you know cameras!  |
