May 10th - Black Squadron elections 2009

The time is fast approaching for Black Squadron elections. The procedure is as follows:

Nominations will be sent under private message to me, Col. Charybdis, elections officer aboard the Callisto. All eligible members of Black Squadron are able to be nominated. The nominations period will begin on Monday, May 4th and will close on Friday, May 8th.

The list will then be posted and the general election will be held. More information will be disclosed as we get closer to the election.

For the newer members of the Callisto, the reason we have Black Squadron elections on May 10th is because it is the founding date of Black Squadron going all the way back to May of 1999. Yes, we have been around for that long!

The winner will have the rank of Major and will take over command of the squadron when announced. Major JustinB is the current CO of Black Squadron. The outgoing or continuing as the case may be, CO may request up to two warriors be promoted at that time if they wish...

Fellow Warriors,

Today, May 10th, is the 10th anniversary of the founding of Black Squadron. Congratulations to all who have served in its ranks.

The nomination period for the squadron elections are over. We did not receive any new nominations for squadron CO. Therefore, as of today, Major JustinB will continue to serve as the CO for another yahren.
