I only saw Ep. I and II once in the theater. My kids didn't even get the chance since they were so young and two of them weren't even born yet!!!
I can't wait to see Ep. I in the theaters again because i can finally take the kids to see it. They heve never seen any Star Wars movie on the big screen, so I think they will really enjoy it now!

I can't wait to see Ep. I in the theaters again because i can finally take the kids to see it. They heve never seen any Star Wars movie on the big screen, so I think they will really enjoy it now! This made me laugh, bringing back memories. My daughter was in kindergarten when the Special Edition was in theaters and she saw them A LOT. We saw one of the three every day during Spring Break that year. It was fun dragging her kicking and screaming, I mean taking her to something that has been such a big part of my life. I don't care how many times you watch the DVDs, there's nothing like watching them in a theater with a couple hundred of your closest friends. |

I totally agree. You really haven't seen Star Wars until you've seen it on the big screen.
btw, did anyone catch that show last night on ABC? It was the "Best in Film" and they had viewer voted countdowns of all different types of films and genres.
for scifi, you guessed it, Star Wars was voted no. 1 of all time!!!!! As if there was any doubt!

Star Wars in 3D sounds AWESOME. I've seen it on the big screen too. But, I haven't seen it in 3D.  |

They'll be releasing them in 3D, one per year, starting next year. They're going in chronological order, not how they were originally released, so it should be fun. Al, I just read another post of yours. With everything that's going on in your life, when do you have time to watch TV? I didn't see the show but I'm not surprised. It's just the movie that changed the face of movies. |

Well, right now I do have some time for entertainment, but that is probably going to change by next year!
I just caught the beginning of that show, i couldn't watch the entire thing, but I did catch the sci-fi portion of it. They also chose The Lion King as the best animated movie of all time.
