So how many are watching arrow? What are your thoughts of the series?
I have to say for the most part I am really impressed. The character seems to have a workable outfit that looks a lot like the more gritty 80's Greeen Arrow. The Quinn character is enjoyable, along with the other character in this show. And having actors like the man who played Captain Jack from Doctor Who/Torchwood playing a villian, and the villian from Man with the Iron Fist playing the ally Quinn had on the island is really nice.
I was always a fan of the Green Arrow in Smallville, and while I was sorry to see that actor not being able to return to the role, I think this storyline is a lot of fun to watch.

I'm not watching Arrow... but I am watching Revolution. Or at least I was until it was taken off the air. I don't think it's been cancelled. Not sure. I thought it had an involving story, a bit shaky at times but pretty cool.
Anybody watch Revolution?

Yes, I was watching Revolution and I believe it will be back March 25th... www.nbc.com/revolution/?__source=Reso_Revolution_Brand&hcoref=search&WT.srch=GoogleThoughts on it? Well, liked the guy who played the uncle (and the dad, Charlie, on Twilight... he was one of the best parts). Who is that, Billy Burke right? Anyway, great quality production and sometimes I wish the writing was as good. There are two things that urked me before the sleep period it went into: - The good guys just about always loose. Mostly because they were stupid. - I can't wait to see what EXACTLY is causing things not to work. Whatever is effecting things is more than just a EM pulse. It is something interfering with mechanical devices as well. And well, that is.. well.. illogical really. Microprocessors and the like I can see having problems, but older cars should be working still. Well, there is a lot that should be working and is not. The world is in a shambles, and the government is caput (don't believe that for two seconds honestly, if there is one thing I believe is that government will not allow itself to fall, but it is wishful thinking on the part of many) ... so get this, rather than breaking into mass store houses for already built tents and uniforms they have CIVIL WAR REPLICAS made and use those instead. Make sense? I didn't think so. Tons and tons of firearms collected, and what is used? Flintlocks. Right.... The show is a technical headache to watch. And frustrating to watch the heroes loose... and loose... and loose.... But it is the most creative thing on television probably, so I will watch it. Still say you need to check out Arrow. Been a fun show if you are into comic book heroes and all.

Ha! Yeah, a lot of the show you just have to go with it. I've been disappointed with a lot of writing on TV lately. Maybe I watch too much.
I can't believe what happened with Charlie's brother when the show came back! (Won't say, don't want to spoil it) Especially after what the fall season was mostly about...!
I enjoy the flashbacks a lot. It makes the bad guys more than just bad for bads sake when you see what's behind the things they do and how they got where they are.
I'm sorry I'm not watching Arrow! I should try to catch up once the first season set comes out. So many shows come and go that I get picky about which one's I risk getting hooked on.... Mostly I end up saying, "thankfully I didn't get hooked on that one" after it's cancelled. But then there are the ones that last and I'm way behind before I get to see it...

Well as a update, I am no longer watching Revolution. Just got too frustrating with the death of the brother. As you said it was what the whole first season was about.
So these days I watch Arrow, some Supernatural (it comes on after Arrow, and I don't mean to watch it but I just get sucked in.) Also been watching Beauty and the Beast and Elementary.
On the comedy front, Big Bang Theory, Two Broke Girls, and sometimes I get sucked into Rules of Engagement. Patrick Warburton is awesome!!
TV shows these days are fun enough, especially Big Bang Theory. Just saw the one where Amy tries to get Sheldon to not always want a conclusion to things after he watches a show (I believe the "Alphans") get cancelled after 1st season. Hehe... you would think being into science fiction he would be used to it by this point.
Old things I am watching: 5th Doctor Who (been brushing up my cosplay of the 5th Doctor). Also watching Babylon 5 straight through an episode a day with my wife (we are up to the last of season 4), and finally I am watching (after waiting for three decades) Star Blazers: The Bolar Wars (Season 3).
(Does happy dance).

Jump forward a couple of years:
It appear to be a great time for TV shows based on comic books. The fourth season of Arrow begins in a few days, as does the second season of The Flash. Marvel's Agents of Shield is back for season 3, and Gotham is back for season 2. Supergirl begins season 1 this fall, and I believe I'm missing a few.
I've enjoyed Arrow throughout its run, and The Flash was surprisingly good last year, with a few (major) nods to the original John Wesley Shipp version from the early 90s. I liked Gotham through most of its first season, but the last few episodes from that season and the first episode of this season have me questioning whether I'll continue watching it much longer. They've made a few moves that seemed to make it jump the tracks, messing too much with established canon, and I'm not sure it will be able to get back in the right direction, much less actually on the rails. I haven't seen the others, but would be interested to hear everyone's current thoughts.
With the new and returning shows, it will be interesting to see if the writing and acting can keep the audience interested in all of these.

I didn't watch the 2014-2015 TV show Constantine, but I understand it was based on DC Comics' Hellblazer character. I think the show has been cancelled, but the lead character, John Constantine played by Matt Ryan guest starred on Arrow last week. They were trying to restore the former Black Canary, who will supposedly now become another character.
The Flash season 2 has been having parallel universe episodes where Jay Garrick (an earlier Flash) and others have come to the TV universe. If they continue this, I hope that they'll eventually do a John Wesley Ship/Flash-1990s crossover, where Barry's dad became the Flash and he and Barry get to work together for an episode. Amanda Pays, who occasionally plays Tina McGee in the current version and who played a different version of Tina McGee in the 90s version, could really help with such an episode, too.
The first two episodes of Supergirl, Monday nights on CBS, have been fun, too, but I'm not sure where they're going to take it. I'm hoping that they'll be able to eventually do a Flash/Arrow/Supergirl crossover, but it sounds like Supergirl is in the DC movie universe rather than the Flash/Arrow/Constantine universe.
