Well, a new year is here and it's time to make some resolutions! I'd love to hear you all's resolutions for 2014...
Other than trying to be the best person I can be, I have made a new resolution this year. I am going to begin taking lessons to learn to play the saxophone!
This actually goes way back to the early 1990s. I began taking sax lessons in the spring of 1993. I ended up moving away (this was when I spent some time in Boston) and moved back to my home state of Texas. Well, once I got there, I never picked up the sax again unfortunately. I got busy with my band and music business (I am a lifelong drummer).
So, fast forward 21 years and I now have the ability to take lessons from the excellent instructors here in the music department of the college where I teach at. The best part? They are free since I can take classes here at the college and get the tuition paid for by the school!
