JUst breaking is the news that the directors of the Han Solo movie have been fired!!! Phil Lord and Chris Miller apparently had creative differences with Lawrence Kasdan and Kathleen Kennedy about the movie so they were let go. And they still have several weeks of filming left! This is not good news...

Very worrisome, but there may be good news considering that it was reported that they were trying to make it be wacky like The Lego Movie (note: I loved The Lego Movie, but I don't expect a Star Wars movie to be like that). Word is that Ron Howard has taken over as director and that reshoots are now expected to extend into September. There's supposedly an acting coach that's been called in to help Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo) with some of the finer points of making the character "real" and in conformance with Harrison Ford's portrayal.

Yeah, I figured if you just want Star Wars direction, heck, just let George Lucas direct!!!
