Brie was upset with herself. Between the anaesthesine vapor, the vomiting, the prisoners, being shot, the hand-to-hand combat, the strangers, and being stunned, she had totally overlooked something important. She had forgotten to check the other shuttle, make sure that its crew was okay, before sealing the door. A gentle movement, one that she shouldn't really have been able to feel, gave her the answer. They must be okay, because the tow had begun.

Gold Shuttle Two. Prepare for tow. Shuttle Tiberon will dock in ten microns. What is your status?
Hush looked at Logan with a bemused expression.
Logan almost rolled her eyes. "Our status? Well, our status is that we need that shuttle to dock before one of the prisoners chews his arm off and starts beating us over the head with it."
There was a momentary silence on the other end of the comm. "Ac-acknowledged, Lt."
Logan sat back and crossed her arms. Her back was sore and even with the stabilizing bandage that Hush had applied, her hand was throbbing. She could hear Persephone and Rizou chatting in muted tones in the rear.
There was no possible way Logan could relax until she saw the doors to each prisoner's individual cells slamming shut. She sighed heavily and looked over her shoulder. Comeek returned her stare. He looked oddly pleased with herself and that didn't make Logan feel any better.
Hush noted the direction of her gaze and whispered to her, leaning over the arm of the co-pilot's seat, "What can he do now?"
"I don't know." She forced herself to turn away and looked at Hush instead. His lip was cut and he had a bruise on his cheek. She smiled at him.
"What?" He returned her smile.
"You look like Hades."
His smile broadened at her words. "You look beautiful."
She couldn't hold back the chuckle and shook her head. At that instant, there was a slight hum and Logan felt a reverberation in the deck. Finally!

Knowing that the tow had finally started, Brie took a seat near the prisoners. Only microns before they had been whispering back and forth, and Brie could only imagine what they were planning. "We'll be there in a couple of centars," she told them.
"Good," was Raina's unexpected reply.
"Good?" Brie repeated.
"We've decided to accept our fate," Raina explained. "You've won, Widow. We give up."

Io? Did I hear her correctly? Triton wondered. Could that be one in the same, Persephone's cousin, Io?
The two women from the Alpha Starliner continued their conversation.
"You don't realize just how big a battlestar is until you land on one, don't you think, Io?", said the other girl to her friend.
"Huh?...oh yeah....big". Io was momentarily distracted by the handsome warrior staring at her in the corridor.
Lyra followed Io's gaze over toward the shuttle pilot who brought them to the Callisto. Lyra waved a hand in front of Io's face to break her daze.
"What? Did you say something, Lyra?"
"Yeah, I said I just joined the Cylon Empire as their new Imperious Leader, and they said I can have a Basestar of my own", Lyra relpied frowning while her friend still focused on the warrior.
"That's nice Lyra".
By now, Lyra sighed, and folded her arms as she added," And I think the first thing I'm going to do as new Imperious Leader is, take over the Callisto"
"Uh..I think the Callisto is just fine", Io replied absent-mindedly.
"IO!", Lyra said out loud, annoyed now.
Io snapped out of her gaze and asked Lyra why she was shouting at her.
As Lyra began to inform her friend that she was ignoring her, Triton had approached them from behind.

"You give up," Brie said, as if she had heard Raina wrong. "First Trula begs for my life, and now..."
"Don't misunderstand, Widow," Trula interrupted. "Nothing has changed. I still hate you. No, that's not strong enough. I loathe you, I despise you, I deplore you, I..."
"I get the picture," Brie said. "And believe me, you're not my favorite person either."
"But you were right," Trula continued. "Master Pierce doesn't want you dead, at least not now. Unfortunately for you many people won't agree with me on that, and I will get great satisfaction knowing that you'll spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder."
"You're wrong," Brie said. "I know that what's left of Pierce's organization is in shambles. You have no leader, because he took the coward's way out. Once you're finally on the Prison Barge where you belong I won't give you or any of his other followers another thought." Brie wasn't sure if she was trying to convince Trula or herself.

Stadia checked the panel. "keep an eye on the other shuttle, Lt TracyB." Capt Stadia keyed the coordinates for the prison barge into the shuttle's on board computer. She couldn't help but wonder what would happen next on this mission. "Lt. Ben, make sure all the weapons are ready. I dont want to be caught empty handed." It had been along time since she had been to the prison barge. It had been when her ex-boyfriend had been committed there for trying to kill her. It brought back a flood of memories. "Lt. Tracy B., keep an eye on things." She climbed out of her seat and went into the back of the shuttle where she could be alone for a moment. The memories of his face when he was being carried out of their apartment after she had turned him in for selling crystal.

Grateful to feel the tug of the tow to the Prison Barge (FRACK, what a long trip it had been! what time was it anyway?), Brik sat back regarding the prisoners as well as the Major. He had learned a lot about both she and the "SOCIETY" that hated her on this mission, he was sure that his relationship with the Major would grow. He'd always been just a little reserved with her. Never having been on an extended mission seemed to do that, neither person being certain yet of the other's mettle. Brik had found her tough as nails and smart under fire, which he respected greatly, and began to see her as an example. For Brik this never happened.
He'd also have to make certain that Brie gets fully checked out in Med-Lab, that arm could get worse. And then there's the vomiting.
Brie was having a fascinating conversation with Trula and Raina but he'd heard enough from them for the moment. He got up and took a couple of steps (equivalently a long walk while in such cramped quarters) while keeping his eyes on Major and prisoners alike.
It was the first time that he'd had the chance to talk to the remaining team member since leaving the battlestar. "Janey, how are you holding up?"

Janey had just flopped down on the floor behind the pilot's seats, leaning her back against the wall and closing her eyes. After helping Brie secure the door, there seemed little else to do but enjoy the tow.
Her head jerked up at the sound of Brik's voice. "Janey, how are you holding up?" he asked.
She laughed for a brief moment. "I did want to get more important missions" she admitted, "didn't I? Thing is, you never know when something you're assigned to do that doesn't seem important, turns out to be... Guess there's a lesson in there somewhere."
"I'm fine" she went on, "thanks for asking. I wasn't so fine when the Starliner Alpha was in danger. Can you imagine trying to evac the medical facility? Lords, I hope she's okay. She's been though so much already."
"Who?" Brik asked.
"Lords, you don't know" Janey said, smacking a hand to her forehead. She ran the hand through her hair, smoothing it back. "Before we launched, I got a message on my com. It was from Ally's father."

BY THE LORDS!!!!!!
Brik's head jerked back in absolute shock as if he'd hit his own head with his own hand! Funny, the ideas of being slaughtered by maniacs, hijacked by hijackers and possibly even sucked out into the void of space had caused him no real panic or stress other than simple caution and the desire to perform as well as he had been trained to.
Now Janey hits him in the head with a large brick shaped like a noble woman and brave warrior. ALLY.
He unconsciously leans against the bulkhead and slides down to join Janey. "Ally." The name and the memories ran through his head like daggits freed from their kennels a the end of the day. "What . . . when did . . . " Ok, make the daggits slow down, you have the leash. He took in a deep breath and released it slowly (this too was training though he never thought about it). Knowing and not knowing. Well if either choice will hurt, he might as well have the information as well as the headache. "Where is she?" He took another breath just as deep as the first. "Do you know if I might see her?"
Oh frack, his thoughts had moved without him and this time the deep breath came with a side dish of anxiety. The big man had been staring idly at the deck but he looked up at Janey's face. "Is she alive?!?!?!"
